I recently dined at Bab Tuma, a restaurant that is known for serving chicken broast and shawarma. While I must admit that the shawarma didn't quite live up to my expectations, the chicken broast at Bab Tuma was truly exceptional. The broast was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavors that left me craving for more. It was definitely the highlight of my meal.On the downside, the shawarma at Bab Tuma didn't quite satisfy my taste buds. The flavors were lacking, and the overall taste was average compared to other shawarma joints. However, the standout quality of their chicken broast compensates for this disappointment.Considering the exceptional broast and the average shawarma, I would rate Bab Tuma a solid 4 out of 5 stars. The delicious chicken broast alone makes it worth a visit, but if you're specifically craving shawarma, you may want to explore other options. Overall, Bab Tuma offers a decent dining experience, especially if you're a fan of well-cooked and flavorful chicken broast. Service was average. I had to ask for my food after it was setting ready for a couple of minutes. Directions were not given at all. Also, people failed to give a smiling...
Read moreOkay this is one of the best grill restaurants in Riyadh. Usually the Shish Taouk in othe restaurants is dry and a little bit tough to eat, but here, it melts in your mouth, full of juices, and full of taste. The beef kebab here hits all points one would look for in beef kebab. You know how good a restaurant is from their appetisers, and this one didn't disappoint. Usually restaurants don't care about the appetisers but focus on the main dish, but here everything is home made and fresh, one can't ask for more. All of the dishes I have tried are up to standard that I had in mind. Service is really good, waiters are polite, the guy that took our order was okay. Hygiene and cleaness of the restaurant is very good. Would recommend for anyone looking for a Syrian/Arabic grill...
Read moreWe have always eaten here, too the oint where its been 30+ times. It was a 5 star restaurant for me until recently when the fires that came with the takeout were dry and seemed to be a day old. This happened the first time and i said “no big deal, it’s probably a one time thing.” However the next few times we ordered the dries were in the same state, but this time mixed with other ;fresher” fries. This has led me to believe that they have begun selling. Old fries, which is rather disappointing knowing that they were known in the neighbourhood for their freshness in ingredients. As well as this, some of the shawarmas that they have sold us were really lacking ingredient and chicken/ meat, like half the portion size for...
