A Taste of Thailand in The View: A Quick Bite at Thai Soi Craving an authentic Thai experience with a view? Look no further than Thai Soi Restaurant, located in The View Mall. Recently, we had the pleasure of sampling some of their classic dishes, and while a more in-depth review would require multiple visits, here's a quick snapshot of our experience.
We opted for two staples of Thai cuisine: the iconic Tom Yum Soup and the ever-popular Pad Thai. The Tom Yum was a vibrant explosion of flavors, the broth a perfect balance of spicy, sour, and savory notes, warming us from the inside out. It definitely lived up to expectations.
The Pad Thai was also satisfying. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and the dish was well-balanced with the right amount of sweetness, tang, and peanuts. It was a solid rendition of a classic dish, and a generous portion too.
Beyond the food, the service stood out. We'd especially like to thank Sir Ian and Rizza for their attentive and friendly service, making our quick lunch break a truly pleasant experience. They were both incredibly helpful and made us feel welcome.
Overall, Thai Soi at The View Mall offers a convenient and relatively authentic taste of Thailand. While a more comprehensive review would delve deeper into the intricacies of their menu, our initial experience with the Tom Yum and Pad Thai, coupled with the excellent service from Sir Ian and Rizza, makes it a worthwhile stop for a quick and flavorful meal. If you're in the area and looking for a taste of Thailand, Thai Soi is definitely worth...
Read moreExtremely disappointing experience I will not be returning. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, which never arrived. After reminding the staff, they said it would be there in “two minutes.”and when I asked to cancel it, there was no apology, no explanation — just silence. Even worse, the Cashew Chicken dish never came either, even though a nearby table that ordered after us received it before we did. When I asked about it, the staff clearly got flustered they had completely forgotten the order. I asked to cancel that too, only to be shocked when the bill included both dishes we never received. No apology. No accountability. Just dismissive behavior. I asked to speak with the manager, who gave me some excuse about a “policy” that prevents issuing a new bill. After insisting, he magically managed to generate a new invoice — so clearly, that excuse was just a way to avoid fixing their mistake.
This place lacks basic professionalism and organization. Service is poor, communication is worse, and there’s zero respect for the customer. I strongly do not...
Read moreI visited Thai Soi Cenomi The View Mall branch for an early dinner. My impression of the place is as Thai as you get from the mural wall to the attire of the staffs. I ordered a plate of chicken Satay with peanut sauce a bowl of shrimp phad thai and a glass of passion fruit ice tea. Grace the service crew was very attentive on my order and it’s on point. Waiting time for my food to come is decent even if there are few patrons inside. Foid wise I can say that the chicken Satay is on point it goes well with the peanut sauce as the charade but tender poultry meat compliments each other. Albeit the Phad thai is acceptable but nothing special the sauce overwhelmed the noodles and it’s a bit on sweetside and it’s sauce thickness made the noodle to be soggy. The passion fruit ice tea is very refreshing and it helps washed down the thickness and sweetness of the phad thai. Overall its still a recommendable restaurant if you’re craving for a taste of Thailand and Grace is very professional and always attentive to...
