WHOA Tea - واو تي (Sulimaniyah) — Restaurant in Municipality of Olaya

One of my favorite places ever. I absolutely love their boba and desserts !! The boba is deffenitly one of the best in Riyadh, and they have a really wide range of desserts to choose from, each being as delicious as the next ! (I would know I tried all of them😭). The service is also great; they finish your drink usually in about 5 minutes. They also have a variety of games to play, like playing cards, guess who, mahjong, and a lot more ! The atmosphere is cozy, the decor is really cute, and the chairs are surprisingly comfy. I really love coming here with my friends since it’s such a great hangout spot ! Also, one of the main reasons this place has become one of my favorites is the employees. They’re all so sweet, funny, and welcoming !! I really would love to give Jan some extra credit for his very kind way of dealing with the costumers!! Overall one of the best boba places you can find, with games and activities to do while you sit and chat with your friends ! Definitely would recommend...

EDIT: Whoa! 😂 Whoa Tea has really improved since my first and second visits. The quality of drinks is better now and the boba is fresh and bouncy 👏🏼 The employee (Mark) was so kind and accommodating to our tastes and let us modify our drink. I wish they’d change the tables to solid tops because putting my cup over the gaps make me so anxious 🙈 Otherwise I’m really happy with the growth of this shop.

Finally a real Chinese tea spot with fruit teas and cheese cream! I had a good feeling when I saw that all the diners and employees were from China, and there was a variety of loose leaf Chinese teas on display. The menu had some staples like taro, brown sugar boba milk tea, and many jasmine tea options, but don’t order the matcha because it tastes very low quality, and our boba was overcooked and mushy. Chinese style milk teas are very floral, lightly sweetened, and let the tea’s flavor shine, so keep that in mind when ordering. I would come back for the fruit/cheese teas because...
