Bidew — Restaurant in Dakar

First the pros: It’s in a Garden outside looks nice, they have a live DJ even though he wasn’t playing anything when we went. Our waiter was also helpful as we don’t speak French so we used a translator.

Cons: A few of the meals I wanted they didn’t have like Maafe or jollof as they were out of it. We had chicken and fish, all three chicken dishes were dry no flavor and it was old chicken. Was not made to order. Fries were under cooked, fish was just fish flavorless for the most part. Not one food item was anything to write home about, just food.

RUDEST guy serving the table we have had so far. It ruined the food experience. Management should check how they treat the guests. Wrong food order, then had the audacity to ask for extra money for the things he missed.. didn't check in for desert nor drinks ( just walked off after half an order), gave old mint leaves in the tea (after first serving the wrong tea), RANDOMLY brought the check (at like 22.00) without us even asking for it... What a strange strange way to treat...

Si la possibilité de mettre 0 étoiles était permise.. j’attends 35 minutes mon plat après que mes amis aient été servis, je dois demander 4 fois où la souris d’agneau en est. Elle a probablement été oubliée, pas un mot d’excuse… Ce n’est pas grave, elle finit par arriver 35 minutes après tout le monde, l’accompagnement n’est pas le bon, j’avais demandé des alokos et ils m’amènent du riz. Je le dis immédiatement au serveur. Il me dit qu’il va aller voir. 10min plus tard je redemande où ça en est, il me répond sèchement qu’il est déjà venu me voir pour me dire que les alokos sont en rupture de stock. Il n’est pas venu me dire cela, mes amis en sont témoins… J’explique donc que ce n’est pas le plat que j’ai demandé (en ayant assez de laisser passer beaucoup d’erreurs sans avoir ne serait qu’un petit mot d’excuse).
