Service in this place was EXCEPTIONAL! This has to be the kindest and politest stuff personnel that I've ever encountered! At first, we were charmed with the place itself - we were sitting in an old, restaurated train wagon that, paired with jazz and bossanova music, gave us some nostalgic vibes. Than the server came with the biggest smile and positivity, we took an order for two veal soups and one small pizza Quattro Stagioni. Soup was awesome, it warmed us, and brought back our energy from the cold day. And now the most amazing part: PIZZA DOUGH! I swear to you, this has to be the best prepared pizza dough that I ever had to chance to taste! (I'm a bit ashamed to admit, but I really often eat pizza and this has to be one of the best I ever tasted) Our Quattro Stagioni had a small twist - a pice with a chicken breasts on, that was fun and different. Overall, we were beyond satisfied and we will be back at this place as soon as possible. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I've never been this much satisfied with a food, stuff, interior and music. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Restaurant Review I had the deer steak with pepper sauce and sweet potato fries, and it was phenomenal—one of the best steaks I've ever had. The meat was tender, the sauce rich and flavorful, and the fries perfectly crispy. The view is wonderful, overlooking the river and Zemun, with Belgrade in the distance. The atmosphere adds to the experience, making it a perfect spot for a special meal. Be sure to make a reservation, as it can get busy. Prices are average for Belgrade, well worth it for the quality. Highly recommended!

My recent visit to this restaurant was an absolute disaster. We arrived with a party of six, expecting to enjoy a pleasant meal together. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to find that the table we were given was far too small to accommodate all of us comfortably. It was clear that the restaurant did not make proper arrangements despite our reservation.

To add insult to injury, the behavior of the employees was completely disrespectful. Rather than acknowledging the issue and attempting to find a solution, they seemed indifferent and uncaring. It was as if our dissatisfaction didn't matter to them at all. This lack of customer service was deeply disappointing.

Feeling uncomfortable and disrespected, we made the decision to leave immediately without even trying the food. It was a shame because we had been looking forward to trying the restaurant's offerings. However, the poor treatment and lack of consideration from the staff left us with no desire to give them our business.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. The disregard for customers' comfort and the disrespectful attitude of the employees create an environment that is far from enjoyable. Save yourself the disappointment and find a more welcoming establishment where your dining experience...

I really struggled with this rating, something inside me kept saying four stars but couldn't tell me why. The view is amazing, the decore is great, staff great but still someone niggles. Parking is at premium so be prepared to do some walking.

Our party had a mix of cevapi, I think I'm on a cevapi tour, and slow roast veal. Both were excellent. Having cabbage salad was a pleasant change, hopefully adverting scurvy. Our waiter was great, attentive and good service.

I had hoped by this point I would be able to put my finger on what my concern is, yet I can't. As with any review it is my opinion which on the wilderness of the Internet is but a murmur. Visit Balken Express for yourself, I doubt you'll...
