Ok this place place is very centrally located and its an ok standard hostel. My problems are that it is not modern as the name suggests and the website photos don't match the reality. The place has some nice touches but the problems overwhelm it. We booked a "deluxe twin room with balcony". There was nothing deluxe about the room and the balcony was only big enough to stand on. Wi-Fi was weak at times. Open bulb light only and no lamps. The beds were fine. No towels as per pictures so asked at reception only to receive 2 old threadbare towels... Not deluxe. Parts of the blind were missing meaning light coming in and people could see into the room. The balcony door didn't close meaning sound from the main road came in. The men's toilets were in a different wing with only one cubicle out of 3 working and no locks on toilet doors!! Showers were full of old empty shower gel bottles and insects. The worst part was the smell of the toilets which took over the corridor. No effort to even mask the smell or clean. Overall very disappointing. Neither modern not deluxe...
Read moreWe stayed with our big Erasmus group (46people) in this hostel during our Balkan trip for one night. Dušica, the manager, was very nice and polite, she tried to respond every question I had during our month-long conversation about our reservation and tried to help with everything and was willing to find the best solution for our big group. And she even sent us an email after our trip asking if everything was alright - this is the way how to do it! ;) ||||We had very nice stay there. The hostel is nice, modern. Rooms were clean, nice. Showers and toilettes clean and new. Boy and girl from the reception were very very kind and helpful. And the location of the hostel was great - just a few mins from the Republic Square. ||||The manager arranged a breakfast for us at a nearby stylish restaurant (Moonlight Sushi bar and grill), breakfast was very good and restaurant and staff very nice. We had 8 options to choose in advance - as we were a big group. ||||Thank you so much for...
Read moreIf you're looking for a place to stay in Belgrade, you've found it! This little hostel is places in the heart of Belgrade, surrounded with great bars and restaurants, and it is 2 minutes away from Skadarlija street (A MUST SEE IN BELGRADE!). The prices are really low, staff is great and friendly, and you can leave your luggage there during the day. Rooms are super clean, and interior is lovely! ||The only bad thing is if you're staying in a room that looks over the main street, you will hear pretty loud music from the bar under it, but the good thing is that the music is great! :D And another not so great thing, there is no key for the room?! The main doors are locked of course (there is a code) but it is not possible to lock your room when you are leaving, which is not so great thing if you're leaving you...
