Despite selling us that the restaurant is awarded by Gault et Millau, and future one star in Guide Michelin (well in your dream), the cuisine and service are absolutely not at this standard! We have been welcomed by one waiter on the first floor to have a quick lunch but immediately a second waiter came to redirect us to the La Pista restaurant “selling the prestigious” culinary experience. So the four of us decided to be tempted by italian cuisine in Serbia. We have the experience to frequent 1, 2 or 3 stars or even gastronomique restaurants in France or abroad but never in Serbia as we thought that such things did not exist and were curious about this experience. We took an elevator to lower level and the place is nice but we have changed table 3 times as for non smokers, to find the right spot is not easy… We have ordered 3 starters bruschettas and salmon tartars. The plates were fancy but not for this type of entrees. the taste were great. When we got our main dish the disappointment started to be serious I got a burger ( asked for no lactose) and when it came I opened the burger and saw mayonnaise and ketchup coarsely spread on both buns. I pointed out immediately my disappointment about this and the waiter heard me but left. I thought he will come to me to see the issue. No he never came back just after my guests finished their plates. He saw that I did not touch mine and said oh you want to order something else! smh! Then we waited a loooooong 20 minutes to get the menus for the dessert… we paid and left to get the desserts at the lounge bar that were more appealing… I will not comment the lounge bar that is stinking cigarettes but in Serbia it’s not forbidden to smoke.. we asked to be seating outside but the waiter said he is not serving on the terrace… another disappointment… In Serbia that kind of restaurant is not at the level of other countries despite their good effort. They are not ready yet. they need hotel schools as this is something you learn not something natural… keep going in traditional restaurants at least it’s cheaper and it’s worth the...

Food – 10/10
I had the chance to try several dishes, and every bite was pure perfection. The risotto was fantastic, rich in flavor, and cooked to perfection. The bruschetta was an absolute hit – crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. But the highlight of the evening was the burger, an undeniable 100/10! Juicy meat, perfectly seasoned, with fresh bread and toppings that made every bite incredible.
To top it all off, I had the tiramisu, which is freshly prepared right in front of you. The ladyfingers come pre-soaked, then a rich cream filling is added, followed by a dusting of cocoa. This isn’t just a dessert – it’s a mini spectacle for true lovers of authentic Italian flavors.
Ambience & Service – 10/10
The restaurant exudes a sense of luxury, but in a refined and welcoming way. Soft music, well-arranged tables, and elegant decor create an atmosphere where you can fully enjoy your meal. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, highly knowledgeable about the menu, and happy to offer recommendations. Service is top-notch, efficient, and always delivered with a smile.
Price & Value – 10/10
Although this is a more upscale restaurant, every penny is well spent. The quality of ingredients, presentation of dishes, and overall experience far exceed expectations. This is not just a place to eat – it’s a place to indulge in a true gastronomic delight.
Final Verdict
Would I return? Every single day, without a doubt! La Pista is not just a restaurant – it’s an experience that leaves you speechless. If you love top-tier food and want to treat yourself to the best Italian specialties, this place is an...
