St Pierre Beach Restaurant

We went for a Saturday buffet. We arrived early as the staff were preparing for the evening. The manager advised us that we could sit around the bar and he would let us know if there would be an opportunity for us to be seated for dinner earlier than our reservation, which was nice.

The bar had very tasty mocktails and cocktails. The venue itself is stunning with the buffet presented in a spectacular fashion. The views looking out over Anse Volbert and to St Pierre island and beyond were lovely. There were candles and chilled ambient music. The food itself was quite bland. The fish and lamb from the grill was dry. The roasted potatoes were partially uncooked and lukewarm. The sauces at the pasta section were very sweet.

Presentation, service and atmosphere was all top, but unfortunately the food did not live up to the high bar set by these...

We just have been day guests for taking lunch, never the less it's one of the best locations, great deliouses food with great servive and an incredible view. You also can use the beach side and have good drinks.When we arrive this is one of the first things we do, having great lunch with the feet in the sand. Parking in the hotel area is no problem. This is the Paradise Sun resort, but we just went there as outside guests. The views are so fantastic. The restaurant is a gigantic Cabana with a sand floor. Dress is very casual. They also have a very clean outdoor kitchen which you can look at as your food is prepared. Everything was very good. The grilled fish was excellent and their octopus curry was very good. Also they have frosé, which made my day. This is by far the best lunch restaurant on the east...
