Michelin star dining experiences!
Our dinner took place on a table for tow on Cote D'Or Beach a wonderful location to host an evening dinner.
We were welcomed with some clean refreshing towels which were very welcome on a hot evening. The tables were excellently decorated and prepared. A solo guitarist was playing some nice local and international music in the background on the rythm of the waves ,its was magical. The wine selection was moderate but good variety. Very competent waitresses and butler with good knowledge of there menu. A starter war served followed by sorbet to clear the palate and after the main course was served. Baked lobster tails coated in garlic, butter, cheese and then baked in the oven. I must say that was the most delicious lobster we ever had.
Was it the location, the romantic music, the fresh food, the competent chef, the nice staff or all together. As i said it wasn't just food it was an experience, a very delicious one.
I must say visiting praslin without trying Cafe des Arts would be in my opinion a loss.

We started with the ceviche salad and the seafood salad, which were beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we ordered the redprawn and grilled octopus and we were genuinely impressed by the quality of ingredients and the skillful execution. Every bite was rich, balanced, and satisfying.
The service was outstanding. Our servers Darshana and Gabrilla were very nice, very welcoming and professional, they were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and made excellent recommendations. It’s clear that hospitality is a top priority here.
Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just craving an exceptional meal with a great seaview and a beautiful ambiance, café des arts delivers on all fronts. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreWe didn’t even get the chance to try the food — which, based on other reviews, may have been disappointing anyway — because of the waiter’s rude and unreasonable behavior. The place was nearly empty, with plenty of available tables, so and we sat at a spot where two small tables had already been pushed together, that gave us both a great view. We were even willing to order the overpriced food just to enjoy that setting. But without even a “hello/welcome”smile or apology, the waiter came up and wanted to make us move — in case someone else might come and want that spot, even if there were like 5 guests already seated around. Surely, we left that moment.
It’s absurd to prioritize imaginary guests who might or might not come over ones who are already seated with menu in their hands and ready to spend money. If you expect people to pay high prices for mediocre food, and less than mediocre service the least you can offer is basic courtesy. Instead, we were met with arrogance and zero...
