A very welcoming place to enjoy fresh Persian food. The owner works just as hard as his staff at providing a high standard of customer service. You feel welcomed the moment you walk in being greeted with a smile. There is open seating and from almost any table you can see the food being prepared with fresh ingredients and made to order. When I ordered the owner made me feel so confident about my selection by saying "excellent choice".Some items on the menu are family recipes passed down through his family. When he tells of them you can see the joy and pride in his face. I also noticed that they were voted #1 through a local publication and it was proudly displayed on the wall and the window.I had tender lamb kabobs, roasted eggplant and avacado bruchetta. I have not one complaint! All delicious, served hot, and fresh. The cook even asked how we preferred our lamb. This is not the treatment I am use to receiving in a small cafe like environment so I was pleasantly surprised. I was in KY for a visit for the first time and this was my last stop before returning home. I am so glad I chose to stop here!

My husband and I went here for some quick Greek takeout. We got there at 7:00 pm and they do close at 8:00 pm so they had already turned their fryer off so just keep in mind the time you go might limit quite a few of their food options based on the fryer. In my opinion their menu is inaccurate in representing what you will be getting. The kabobs/wraps are a la carte so for just my steak kabob (including 4 large pieces of steak) it was just over $15.00. My husband ordered the falafel wrap and then was told later by a staff member that they couldn’t make it due to the fryer being off but then the cook chimed in and said they would figure it out. Each rice side was $7.00-$8.00 which I would say is pretty steep. The steak was delicious and cooked perfectly, the falafel wrap was amazing (my husband is still drooling over it) the rice was delicious both the white and lentil rice but in my opinion heavily overpriced. The pita bread was mid and to me seemed dry. The baklava was decent but definitely not the best I’ve ever had. think a simplified and specific menu update could make a huge difference :)

First time trying a Mediterranean restaurant so I had no idea what was good or what to order or what some of it was. I was surprised the sauces (a couple hot sauces were available for free) were extra. I love trying new condiments but I wasn't paying extra to do it and was disappointed by that. I had salmon kabob with herbal rice. The rice was very good. Salmon was ok. I could have ate a plateful of the roasted(broiled?) tomato that was included. Husband had beef panini with spicy ranch salad. I tried both of his and it was delicious. A man came by (owner?) thanked us for eating local and told us to let them know if there was anything they could do to make our visit better offered bread and whatnot I was clueless as to what to request but the gesture was appreciated. Only thing I didn't like was stacking my dirty plates and cups in a bus bin by the door as a sign requested we do. I'd have liked a place to scrape the plate and pour out the ice and drink first. I felt like I was making a big gross mess stacking our stuff in the bin. Maybe I overlooked that...if so sorry for the mess!

I had the chicken kebab and quinoa salad. The chicken kebab was tasty, and I liked the char on the tomato and onions, but the chicken was a bit dry. The quinoa salad was more of a tossed salad with some quinoa sprinkled on, instead of a good amount of quinoa. I also had the hummus with flat bread, which was the best part of the meal. I didn't realize until after I had already tipped 25% that other than the cashier bringing the food to the table, that everything it's self-service. I had to get my own drink and bus my own table. They didn't even bring utensils to the table with the food; I had to get up and go fetch them myself. And to top off my experience, all of the tables were dirty so I had to grab the cleaning spray and towel near the kitchen door and clean my own table before sitting down. The food was okay, but the service is severely lacking. They're lucky I tipped before I realized it was all self-service, and that I'd have to clean my own table, twice, or I'd not tipped at all. Please do better next time I visit.

Loved it! This is a good review - but honest... here's the DL. The chicken was touted as the best... I would say it was a 6.5 on a 10 for us. There are MANY other things we should have gotten. The Crispy Brussels were the best we'd ever had - and we are gourmet brussels fiends. The garlic oil and salt was like some magical concoction that came to the top of and Andes Mountains. The eggplant side was amazing. You can taste the cook and/or owner puts real love into the food. We were there in July - they have a known HVAC thing that they MUST get a handle on. I wouldn't go back in the summer - just for that reason - we were sweltering. The lady who took our order (maybe the owner) was delightful, the food was great. I would recommend, not in the summer. Unless they put in a couple air units -- their roof top units are broken - or the landlord undersized them???, but they don't care???

I really enjoy the food here, it’s always very fresh and tastes amazing each time. My only issue is the portion size. Paying $15 something for 2 small salmon fillets alone is kinda ridiculous …. An additional $5-6 for rice/side item and if you want any sauce it’ll be an extra $1. I really enjoy the salmon kabob but I can eat salmon just as good elsewhere or at home for less. I think the kabob items should include white rice at least. I came in on Monday and got the food togo, I couldn’t get over how much I spent on a rather small amount of food. Today is Friday and I am back. No question that the food is great quality! Will have to start eating here every blue, as a special treat.
