Blackdog — Restaurant in Žilina

We just arrived on the 5th oh July, around 21:00. A young blonde waiter (a girl) passed in front if us and ignored us. We stopped here and ask about the opportunity ti have a dinner here: she proposed, first, a table with 1 chair saying "we don't have any other" although we were in 3 while sighed. Then, we asked about the food and she said that the kitchen was closed and, exceptionally, we should give us some food left. We left but, by magic, she welcomed 4 people (2 in different tables, strangely she found the chairs), she nicely took her food order and brought them. For sure, I am not coming back in a such place with no professional people who doesn't want to...

Place looks good, has great location. My burger was tasty, beer was above average, so not complaints from my side, but my wife's burger was only medium, even though they asked how we want our meat, and she asked for "well done". Also the burger was not as good as mine. The staff was even though the bar was half empty really slow and forgot 2 times the thing we wanted (menu and then tee my wife ordered). English My family and I had lunch in Blackdog today and it was such a great experience all around! We tasted their soups, crispy chicken burger, tenderloin steak and finished it off with a sweet chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, even the homemade lemonades we had were really tasty. We found the prices fair considering the quality they offer. However, the aspect we enjoyed the most was the service offered by staff. Our server was incredibly friendly, sweet and helpful. Overall an awesome experience, will definitely come back in the future!

Slovak S rodinou sme v reštaurácii Blackdog boli dnes na obed a boli sme nadmieru spokojní. Vyskúšali sme polievky, kurací burger, steak a zakončili sme to sladkým čokoládovým koláčikom. Všetko bolo vynikajúce, dokonca aj domáce limonády, ktoré sme mali boli veľmi chutné. Ceny sa nám zdali veľmi férové, hlavne vzhľadom na skvelú kvalitu jedla. Ale najlepšia časť bola určite obsluha. Naša servírka bola veľmi priateľská, milá a nápomocná. Celkovo to bol skvelý a veľmi príjemný zážitok a radi sa vrátime...
