Experience from this Wednesday (17.5.2023). During ordering food I asked for green curry with pea and melon, but the waitress didn´t ask me or even didn´t offer me option if I want it with beef, chicken or tofu. I asked her if I will have the curry with rice or noodles. She repeated three times that it has to be noodles, because it´s not possible to choose the rice or noodles. When I asked her what kind of beer they serve, she could tell just one kind and she couldn´t tell me the other kinds of beer. Finally another waitress brought me the curry but not with noodles but with RICE!!! The waitress who took order went for a cigarette outside. The curry was full of chicken meat which I actually didn´t know, because I thought it would be with tofu. On the board with food offer was just written green curry with melon and pea. The best part was when one of the employees came to kitchen and when he was leaving the kitchen he waved to his collegues with his middle finger! If I was owner I would kick out that person, sorry but customers aren´t intrested in gestures like that. Service and lemonade was total horrible! I was there several times, but this was the...
Read moreThe food was delicious, and if everything else was close to ok, it would have been 5 stars. The issues we had were with the service. We ordered drinks and food, and at that exact moment, the waitress disappeared in thin air. Actually, we saw her sitting at one of the tables having lunch. None of her colleagues bothered to bring us the drinks (it was 38 degrees otside) that were served at the bar, waiting for someone to bring them to the table. Eventually, I did that by myself, as we were with a very thirsty kid who did not want to wait a second longer. And an important tip to everyone who plans to go there with a child - be extremely careful as all dishes served there come with a small bowl of extra chilly chillies, which they serve even for the kids. It takes just a second for a curious child to grab and eat a few of these... With regards to the atmosphere, it is ok for a quick lunch. The biggest problem is that we went there on a very hot day, and all the doors were open, so the air-conditioning was barely managing and the temperature inside was almost the same as outside - well...
Read moreThere are three Soho locations around the Bratislava City Center, one is in the Aupark mall, one in the center on laurinská and there's one just outside the center on dunajská. All of them are good however each has it's own area where it shines.
The Soho on dunajská is the smallest, but they put a lot of effort into food showmanship, every meal comes out beautifully crafted, balanced and delicious. If you are in the center I recommend walking the extra 3 minutes to this Soho.
If you're in the Aupark looking for a meal the Soho there never lets me down and has an amazing selection of bottled beers from around the region. The staff is friendly and always patient with anyone who doesn't speak Slovak. Be sure to try the cheese cake
Lastly, the Soho in the center itself. Certainly the largest of the three it's also the busiest. I think that, in part, explains the reduced quality. I've never felt rushed here, but the food and service always feels like they have too much going on and not enough staff. But even with these issues I would still...
