I love La Putika, I always go to La Putika (any of them because they have many different branches) and today I was in this one. I ordered matcha latte with non lactose milk as always. The waitress brought a milk, matcha was only on the bottom of the foam. When I stirred it up, that was gone too (she put so little amount of matcha) I don’t like to waste food so I didn’t send it back so I drank a milk 😃 It doesn’t stop here… when I went to pay, she told me that I need to pay 0,60€ more because she used non lactose milk 😃 I always go to La Putika and order same thing (matcha latte with non lactose milk) and they have never charged me with extra, ever. But this time, this lady was giving me attitude saying that the milk is different 😃 I said okay of course I’ll pay but what you brought me was only a milk and a sprinkle of matcha. She pretended that she didn’t understand me and kept talking and laughing to her colleague so both of them were kinda mocking at their customer. Such a professional attitude towards a customer! (!) Even though I tried to explain it nicely, she just gave me attitude and pretended that she didn’t understand English. Anyways, never going to La Putika again and will never recommend it to any tourist (I’m a travel agent) or to any of my friends. Whoever is the manager, it’d be good to inspect your employees....
Read moreI have to unfortunatelly change my review: currently sitting here, the selection of drinks, including cocktails, is even better, but... the place is not divided into smoker/non-smoker and it smells terribly... the toilets are quite disgusting, with broken flush, pee(?) and mold everywhere... sitting in the non-smoker you're constantly blasted with thick cigarette smoke from the adjacent smoker area, since the door separating the 2 is blocked open, or blast of,cold air from the outside door. We won't be returning I'm afraid. (lovely staff, cute interior and great beer, only trouble is it can be hopelessly full even on a Monday evening (which, in the end, is a good sign!). The selection of drinks (from craft beers, thru rums, to wines, including black currant) offers something for everyone and is nicely complemented with the snack options (toasts, pickled...
Read moreThis absolutely charming and cozy place is a great place to stop in for a drink, whether you're in the mood for coffee, beer, wine, or cocktails. The low-lighting, good music and comfortable furniture almost make you feel like you're in someone's living room.
Smokers may not appreciate that you can light up inside....I was thrilled, so just keep that in mind if you don't smoke.
I am knocking off one star only because I wish they'd had more of a selection of red wines by the glass, particularly of Slovak wines. Their overall selection of wine is great, and I probably could have knocked back a whole bottle by myself, but it would have been nice not to have to make that choice.
That not withstanding, I really enjoyed my two visits here, and the atmosphere alone invites you to stay and linger...
