Výčap u Ernőho — Restaurant in Bratislava

We arrived at around midnight! We ordered five beers and wanted to know what Chrumky is, so we ordered it, and had to laugh as we saw it is a sort of chips, so we declined. Then we got yelled at that we ordered it (a closed bag of chips) and have to take it, very rude. We were outside, had a great time, and before leaving, we wanted to return the five cups for the deposit of 2€ per cup. The two insanely unfriendly cashiers/barkeepers (one boy and one girl our age around 25) declined our request to take back the cups since it was after 1am at 1:03am. Asking nicely for the money back because we will leave the next morning and can't come back again, the two continued to decline for no reason. Suddenly, the bouncer came to us, started yelling in Slovakian and pushing us aggressively towards the exit. One friend of ours was pulled out of the bar by the ear. The other friend was pulled out by the arm with force, even our two female friends. When we wanted to speak to the barkeepers once more, the security guard pulled out a slapping stick/bat and threatened to hit us. We were really scared, the level of aggression was unjustified as we didn't do a thing. The night was over for us and this chain of events left a very bad impression of Bratislava in the end on our first time...

If I could l leave 0 stars I would. I sat here after a fantastic afternoon in the market. Decided to have a beer when I observed a "security" man throwing a glass of water over a man sleeping on the public benches. This man albeit homeless had been there for a few hours but was nudged once and then had a pint of water thrown over him. Disgusting and horrific behaviour. I approached the bar as this "security" man had been in there previous to get a drink and had retreated back there after this incident. I asked the bar about the member of staff and explained the incident. They said this man was not employed by themselves. I explained the influence of having someone associated with their business and the behaviour observed was inhumane and unacceptable. I was told there was nothing they could do. I asked for refunds for my cups which were 90% full and said I would not associate myself with...

Love the place, especially in summer or when it's little bit warmer, as you can just chill and drink outside and enjoy the old market atmosphere. The way it's incorporated in the whole surroundings makes it my most favourite place to hang out, out of all Bratislava. You can take amazing beer, eat langoš right next to it, and enjoy some cultural event right there at the old market.

As someone who isn't the biggest beer enjoyer, I like their beer. My friends on the other hand who love beer, always says it's good, so i guess I have to trust them. The insides I cannot really review as I never sit there, but it looks as enjoyable as being outside. The WC as a lot of people said it's in a weird location, but if you ask the staff they will always helpfuly show you where it is... overall amazing place that's always...
