Brasserie La Marine — Restaurant in Bratislava

La Marine in Eurovea pleasantly surprised us with its beautiful interior, friendly service, and exceptional cuisine. The restaurant has a stunning location right by the Danube – perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner with a view.

We tried the delicious onion soup, which was rich in flavor and wonderfully creamy. The bouillabaisse fish soup was also excellent, full of bold seafood flavors. Among the starters, we especially enjoyed the delicately prepared beef tartare and the refreshing salmon tartare. The highlight of the evening was the grilled octopus – perfectly tender with a subtle smoky touch.

To top it all off, we had a perfectly mixed gin & tonic, crafted right at our table – a real experience!

Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food and a great dining experience in the heart of Bratislava by the Danube. A perfect place for a romantic evening, business dinner, or a get-together with friends.

This place was recommended by old work colleagues we were visiting and is a beautiful location by the Danube. Some previous recommendations were pretty sketchy commenting negatively about the service. Sadly, we experienced the same. Our waiter seemed distracted, he eventually brought out hot food to one person in the group, with the remainder who ordered primarily luncheon salads waited for their food. We finally stopped the waiter, and asked him to return the hot food to the kitchen until all our other meals were ready. Had feeling that this restaurant has some special Christmas menu. The teriyaki sauce pasta was cold and unable to eat, we asked waiter to heat it. Hamburger’s bread was stone hard. Bread in onion soup was old which is just unacceptable. Steak was served with ice cold potato. We needed to sit in jackets because we had feeling that we were sitting outside. Around our food and table were flying fly’s whole evening. After our “dinner” we went to Mc’donalds and honestly their food was much better.
