Great place for those who love wine and/or coffee. Noticable variety of local and foreign red, white and rose wines with an accent on Georgian and (right now) Italian specialties. One of the remarkable features is a chance to taste a variety of so called orange wines, which are basically white wines made with application of red wine technology. Also the place offers a nice range of bio wines (long story short, the owner of the place will be glad to tell you about those). Last but not least, if love wine but also have severe allergies, the place offers a few non histamine wines. So... Returning to coffee: they don't have a lot of options, but what they offer is a nice Italian brand, much better than Lavazza Ora, which you should be already tired of.) On the disadvantage side: owners are really nice guys, very keen on their business and wines, but they speak only basic English. Otherwise the place is great for expats. Another thing you could consider a disadvantage is that it's not a fancy place, don't put on your taxido and leave home your crown jewels. Read moreI was excited to visit this place based on the reviews on both Google maps and trip advisor. Unfortunately the actual visit was a bit of a disappointment. The good: the service was very nice, well informed and friendly, the selection of beverages (especially wines) was very large, the place was really clean and well kept. The bad: the atmosphere was not very welcoming, and personally I was very annoyed by the loud television (while sitting outside). The prices were okay, but far from cheap. The days of cocktails under 5 euros...
Read moreIt’s the perfect place to take a break from sightseeing. I stopped in the café for a drink and a light snack after walking the castle grounds. The Aperol spritzes were divine and some of the best I’ve had (they're garnished with large olives)! The couple running the place were very welcoming, polite and provided some great food recommendations. If you find yourself in Bratislava, definitely stop here...
