The worst service experience I’ve ever had. A young waiter completely ruined both the atmosphere and the discasting cooking smells of the place.
His behavior was simply unacceptable. To begin with, we waited more than 15 minutes to even be approached, despite there being only two occupied tables. The situation escalated when we brought kiwi lemonades from the vegan sushi bar next door. Since we also felt like something sweet, we decided to order pancakes — two each.
At the end of our order, the waiter suddenly turned arrogant and remarked, “You should ask before if you bring your own drinks.” I replied, “Yes, we would have, if there had been anyone around to ask.” He then rolled his eyes and made a mocking “Barbie” sound "C". From the table, we could also hear him making comments about us to the chef in the kitchen.
Even though the restaurant was nearly empty, we were then left waiting another 20 minutes — clearly as a form of “revenge” for our earlier comment. When the food finally arrived, I confronted him about what we overheard and his rude reaction. Instead of addressing it, he dismissed me with, “I’m not going to talk to you,” and tried to walk away.
When I raised my voice about his unprofessional behavior and asked to speak with the owner, his arrogance only grew. In the end, I decided to leave immediately, unwilling to waste another moment in such an unpleasant and disrespectful place.
No food is worth tolerating such treatment. I will never return, and I strongly recommend others avoid this place if they value basic respect and...
Read moreFor the food, a good rating. Fresh and tasty crepes. But for the service, oh dear. Not sure it's usually like this but I would give a zero if I could. Not sure what was wrong but we were served by a surly waiter with no manners who didn't write down the order (first sign of problems). It was a Sunday lunch, 1pm, maybe the place was half full, so not that busy. Saw two other couples waiting to be served at a table but gave up after not being served and left. The first two choices of crepe I asked for from the menu weren't available, finally they had my third choice. Asked for a small beer but was told no I couldn't have it with no explanation or alternative offered. Asked for a fizzy water, they didn't have it. Finally asked for a tea, with success. The pancakes were brought out quickly and were pretty good quality and great value, but one of them wasn't actually what we had ordered. Eventually the drinks were bought out, but way after we had finished eating and were on the verge of leaving. Surprise, this order was also incorrect. When we came to pay, we had to tell the staff what we had had. No apology or even acknowledgement of poor service. Really, sort your...
Read moreThe gluten-free vegan crepes here are better than any crepe I've ever had (with or without the allergens)! My partner is gluten-intolerant and I'm not, so I usually have to compromise on meals that we share, but this was no compromise—I would order the gluten-free version in a heartbeat.
Great selection of crepe fillings, both savory and sweet. Many of them are vegan-optional. The plating is nice.
Cozy atmosphere with artsy decor, California-style music (not too loud), good service (a bit understaffed during lunch rush but the server was doing her best and was really sweet).
Also, very affordable. The crepes are about 3€ each currently, and about 200g. I don't know if that's considered cheap or expensive (we are from Vienna). Two crepes is a good...
