We visited HRADNÁ Reštaurácia in Bratislava and were initially very pleased—the food was excellent, and our waiter provided great service. Unfortunately, our experience took a negative turn that affected the rest of our trip.
Just after we left the restaurant, a woman entered briefly as we were exiting and then she quickly exited to follow us . In English, she claimed her car was stuck in the parking lot and asked us for our credit card to help her. The situation felt extremely suspicious, especially as she was accompanied by a man who was waiting for her, assumed that we were English speaking , and seemed too coordinated to be a coincidence.
The timing raised serious concerns—it seemed like someone inside the restaurant may have alerted her as we were leaving. We can’t say for certain, but the whole interaction felt planned, which made us lose trust and left us feeling unsettled for the remainder of our visit to Bratislava.
This isn’t a reflection on the food or immediate service, which were both good. But the safety and integrity of guests should be a priority, and this experience unfortunately overshadowed...

Although the staff made an effort to smile, that was unfortunately the only positive aspect of the visit. We were a group of 17 colleagues and had pre-ordered our meals a full week in advance. Despite this, we waited over 1.5 hours just to receive the appetizer with our aperitifs.
When it finally arrived, they brought a 400g platter and placed it on one side of the table, leaving the other half of the group with nothing to eat. Completely unprofessional and poorly managed.
The main course was average at best – certainly not worth the high prices. One dish was acceptable, but overall the food was underwhelming considering the setting and cost.
To make matters worse, the restrooms were absolutely filthy and disgusting – something you would never expect at a restaurant in such a prominent location.
