A good hotel with a historical style, that wouldn't have been our first choice stylewise, but catched our hearts, because of its history, the cleaness, the location, the great danube view, the awesome staff (especially the barman/water in the café/lobbybar), the good breakfast and awesome food in the restaurant. The rooms are spacious, only the shower could be a bit larger. Beds are good. There is all you need present in the room. For me as a frequent hotel user the tv could be larger and when having a guest system on the tv, I like to be called with my new instead of "no guest" in the welcome message. Only the slight smell of our room was a bit of an turn-off, but we used a room scent then. Overall I can fully recommend this hotel and honestly: I've been to a lot. What I also have to point out is that I loved in this hotel that it doesn't feel so "generic" like the other hotels in Bratislava we've been to, but you get a feeling of Slovakia when walking the lobby/groundfloor and this is actually what I'm searching for as a traveler: A connection to the country I visit, which is this hotel doing very good. Thank you.

Overpriced and disappointing I booked a one-night stay with a Danube River view for €143, but I ended up paying €172 at check-in. On top of that, I paid €10 to charge my electric car for just 3% battery. The total cost was €182, not €143 as expected. Parking cost €29 for one night (open space) and €7 city tax. The charging system was very slow (5-6 kW) and overpriced (€5 for 30 minutes + kW fees). I later found cheaper parking just 50-100 meters from the hotel. While the location is nice, the extra costs and poor transparency made this stay disappointing. Not recommended for e-Auto users.

The hotel has a superb position minutes on foot from the old town - watching the Danube sweep past from the top floor balcony with a morning coffee was special; spotless & spacious rooms & public areas, welcoming & friendly staff. We had a delayed flight & v late arrival but the taxi arranged by the hotel was still there awaiting us & they had set up some food as requested as it was outside of their room service hours.Fresh, and generous servings.Simple but well done. The benefit of it not being a huge hotel meant it felt more personal and relaxing. We want to go back😊

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Devin in Bratislava, and it truly exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot into the elegant lobby, I was greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service that continued throughout my entire stay.

The hotel's prime location, situated on the banks of the Danube River, offers breathtaking views of the city's iconic landmarks. Waking up to the picturesque sight of the river flowing beneath my window was a daily treat. The proximity to the UFO Tower, a recognizable symbol of Bratislava, added to the hotel's allure.

The rooms at Hotel Devin are a perfect blend of modern comfort and classic charm. The tastefully designed interiors exude a sense of luxury and relaxation. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could desire. The plush bed ensured a restful sleep, and the panoramic views of the city from my window were simply mesmerizing.

One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional dining experience. The hotel's restaurant boasts an impressive menu featuring a delightful fusion of local and international cuisines. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the attentive staff made every meal a memorable affair. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the culinary offerings never failed to impress.

Hotel Devin also offers a range of facilities that cater to guests' needs. The spa and wellness center provided a sanctuary of relaxation, and the fitness facilities were well-maintained and equipped. The knowledgeable concierge team was always ready to assist with any inquiries or recommendations, ensuring that I made the most of my time in Bratislava.

What truly sets Hotel Devin apart is the impeccable service provided by the staff. Their attention to detail, genuine warmth, and willingness to go the extra mile made me feel truly valued as a guest. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering local insights, or accommodating special requests, the staff's professionalism and friendliness were truly commendable.

In conclusion, my stay at Hotel Devin in Bratislava was nothing short of extraordinary. The combination of luxurious accommodations, stunning views, delectable dining, and unparalleled service created an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for a place that seamlessly blends history, comfort, and top-notch hospitality, I wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Devin. It's a true gem in the heart...

This hotel is in a great location - directly next to the river, one of the main bus stations right round the corner and right on the edge of the Old Town. The staff throughout are all very friendly and welcoming and it does feel like a traditional European five-star property.

I had booked a single room and while the bed was a large single and comfortable, it was annoying everything else in the room took the ‘single’ approach to the extreme - one sachet of coffee, one mug, one bottle of shower gel etc. The mini bar was stocked though and everything else in the room decent. The TV was large and had a good number of English language channels, electric sockets next to the bed, it was quiet with decent views and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. I couldn’t get the wifi to work but with the good mobile coverage coped fine without.

The bar on the ground floor is a nice retreat, open very late and with a full range of drink options. It does permit smoking but it isn’t overly bothersome and it’s got a really traditional atmosphere with great staff. I didn’t get a chance to sample the restaurant but if the outdoor terrace had have been open that would offer a good place to watch the world go by.

Overall it’s a decent option if you want to stay somewhere located in best spot and I’d happily...

This is one of the most rewarding hotels in Bratislava. Once it was designed and built (1954) by gifted and common-sense people using genuine materials and creating a kind of a cozy and professional atmosphere. The hotel was recently restored, fortunately, keeping its original style. The staff is friendly and well dressed and well organized. There is a cozy day bar including, in which there is a large view on the Danube river, original leather feuteils, cigars, good coffee, quality drinks and liquors, perfect service. In this bar one can also order and eat a number of dishes or snacks (their escalope viennoise was excellent). There is also a sumptuous breakfast restaurant and a nice French restaurant. As for the rooms, we had an Executive Double Room with terrace on the 5th floor including a genuine view on the Danube river, standard bathroom, a separate WC including bidet (great) and a number of facilities as described on the hotel's web page. The hotel has an open-air parking facility just in front of the main entrance. One is allowed to leave the car on the parking place for a couple of hours after the check-out time (11:00 am). This is really nice since one can reach by walking the full center of Bratislava in 1-2 min and avoid parking problems...
