Located right on the main square, 17's Bar is a casual gem that lives up to its reputation, especially for its renowned garlic soup served in a bread bowl. Naturally, we had to try this local favorite, and it did not disappoint. The soup was hot, aromatic, creamy, cheesy, and utterly delicious – a must-try dish that’s definitely worth the rave reviews. The atmosphere at 17's Bar is relaxed and welcoming, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. The service was prompt, and the team made sure we felt right at home. Prices at 17's Bar are reasonable, offering good value for the quality of food and service provided. The restaurant also offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. If the weather is favorable, I highly recommend opting for the outdoor seating to enjoy the vibrant ambiance of the main square. In conclusion, 17's Bar is a great choice for a casual dining experience with excellent service and a standout dish in the garlic soup. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s definitely worth a visit.

I came here looking for a good pizza based on very good reviews they have, ordered pizza proscuitto which was brought quite fast, but unfortunately it inedible because of an absolutely crazy amount of salt the dough had. Initially, I thought the problem was the excess amount of oil on the pizza and even tried to dry it away with a napkin, but this did not help the taste at all. I tried hard to eat it because I was very hungry and in a hurry, but it was just impossible. I explained the situation to the waiter, he was very surprised, but took the pizza back (kindly asked if I wanted a new one, which I declined). They did not charge me for my pizza order. At the same time, they serve very good coffee here. While I eventually walked out as hungry as I walked in, the handling of the situation was very adequate. So, I would still come back to this place and give them a second chance while I’m in Bratislava next time.

BEST BURGER I’VE HAD IN 6 EUROPEAN COUNTRIES I’ve been to. I generally won’t comment on too many burger places because most are similar, but when I tell you this was the best burger I’ve eaten in Europe, I’m serious. I have travelled to Germany, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Lithuania, and Latvia. This is the BEST BURGER in all the places I’ve been to. The only other burger highlight in my travels through Europe is a place on Riga’s Gulf coast (see in my contributions to find it). This burger was better than that. Thank you for being so accommodating to our unique orders. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and knew the menu extremely well. If I come back through here, this is for sure THE ONLY Burger place I’m coming to. I’ll be sure to bring cash the next time. Maybe their card machine wasn’t working.

This place was really good for food Quick service and friendly staff. They were very accomidating when I asked for a normal meat burger to be vegetarian, but they do put a chunk of cheese in the burger rather than a patty. The fresh lemonade was very tasty and they did speak great English here. I would definitely recommend. It is a nice pub atmosphere and had football on in the bar. There was places to sit inside and out so you had the choice.

Great spot to have some food and drink and people watch. Strategically located along the street to the theater and some hotels affords you a place to relax and watch the comings and going’s of people in Bratislava especially on the weekend. They do some good pizzas and sandwiches and always have great fries here! There are usually events in this area on weekends like an Italian food fare this time.

Very good Budvar beer and few others (they always have special of the week). Regarding food people usually order pizza or burgers here. Service is ok and usually quick. The best apart of beer is the location, in absolute historical center. Terrace is covered by big trees so even in summer you always have shadow where to hide. I use to sit on the bench at window and watch people passing.
