Historical Old Town Apartment — Hotel in Bratislava

Great location in the old town.Lots of lovely cafes nearby .We went to spend time at the Xmas Markets .The entrance to the Apartment is really drab and dreary.Actually my heart sank when we arrived to find workmen carrying out heavy duty building works to an apartment on the ground floor.Luckily it was Friday and they did not work on the weekend. The apartment was warm and comfortable .We could not get the WI Fi to work but local cafes had that facility.It would have been nice to have a comfy chair to sit on to relax rather than a dining chair or the bed. The bathroom is spacious but shower very basic . I did not feel very secure as no one seems to bother locking the front door and there is no safe to put valuables in.We did not do any cooking but there seemed to be decent equipment if you needed to.We did Emily the owners with some questions but received no reply.
