I Nonni Cremeria — Restaurant in Bratislava

I stopped by after seeing all the great reviews, but honestly, it didn’t live up to the hype. The flavors felt pretty basic, and nothing really stood out. I went for the “super pistachio” expecting something rich and unique, but it was bland—just a few whole pistachios thrown in, no real flavor.

The location is great and clearly draws in a lot of tourists, but I’ve had much better gelato elsewhere—especially in Bratislava.

Thanks for the reply, but your attitude says more than my review ever could. I’ve had far better experiences across Europe—both in terms of flavor and how feedback is handled. There’s no point continuing this conversation when an honest opinion gets met with insults and mockery.

Maybe you should put up a sign outside: Only true ice cream connoisseurs or people willing to give 5-star ratings allowed inside. Would save everyone the trouble.

Do you know the feeling when you have the best burger in the world and you suddenly don't want to have any other burger, just that one? This is the same case, but with gelato from i nonni. You taste it once, and suddenly everything looks brighter with i nonni gelato in your hands. :)

I know that Slovak people are used to spending as little money as possible for everything, but I guarantee you won't want anything else because this is all worth it. I would rather not eat ice cream all summer and visit i nonni twice a month than eat overflavored, overcolored ice cream that maybe costs less but has no flavor at all and a gloopy color. I mean apple ice cream that has green color as radiation? Did you people even saw an apple in your life? This is natural for you to eat? People in comments, you should finally learn: quality over quantity. If you order Bounty - you have chocalate and coconut, if you order vanilla - you have vanilla pieces and natural color of gelato. And btw - they have lacto free option (vegan gelato) and gluten free ice cream cone. :)

Poznáte ten pocit, keď zjete najlepší burger na svete a zrazu nechcete žiadny iný, len ten? To isté mám ja s gelato z i nonni. Ochutnáte raz a zrazu všetko dáva zmysel, život nie je taký zlý a žije sa vám skvelo. :)

Viem, že Slováci sú zvyknutí šomrať na všetko a mať všetko najlacnejšie, ale garantujem vám, že nič iné už nebudete chcieť, lebo toto stojí za to. Radšej by som celé leto nejedla zmrzlinu a chodila do i nonni dvakrát mesačne, ako jesť presladenú, prefarbenú zmrzlinu, ktorá možno stojí menej, ale nemá vôbec žiadnu chuť a si hneď smädný po nej. Viete o tom, že to tak nemá byť po zmrzline hej? Že to je kvôli umelinám a prídavným látkam, čo rôzni zmrzlinári pridávajú. Jablková zmrzlina, ktorá je zelenej farby ako radiácia? Videli ste vôbec niekedy skutočné jablko? Je pre vás prirodzené také niečo jesť? Ľudia v komentároch, konečne sa naučte: kvalita nad množstvom. Keď si objednáte Bounty, máte čokoládu a skutočný kokos; keď si objednáte vanilku, máte kúsky vanilky a prirodzenú farbu gelato. A mimochom, aj máte intolerancie - ponúkajú vegan gelato (lacto free) a majú tiež bezlepkový kornútok. :)

Grazie Peppe & Team, ste môje zlepšenie dňa pri každej návšteve Starého mesta. Už sa neviem dočkať, kedy sa vrátim domov do Bratislavy na "kopček" gelata a rozhovor s vami. Úžasný personál, najlepšie gelato na Slovensku (bez srandy) a naozaj domácka atmosféra....
