Disclaimer: We only come here to get Belgian fries, as we didn't have a positive experience when we tried one of their "street food" menu items a few years ago 😅
Regarding the fries: I would say the quality of the fries can be inconsistent. On a good day, they can be perfectly crunchy; on a bad day, they can be mushy or too salty. I've lately been lucky, therefore the 4 stars.
What "saves" the fries are definitely the sauces, my go-to sauce has been "sladký raj" (sweet paradise?) ever since they stopped selling "Brasil" sauce 💔 Definitely try something else than the regular ketchup or mayo!
The potatoes are fried in beef fat, so they are NOT suitable for strict vegetarians.
The service is very quick once you get inside but there's usually a small queue of people waiting outside to order. Currently, there's no possibility to eat the fries inside, you can either eat the fries by the barrels in front of Orbis or walk a few metres and find a bench in a nearby square (shouldn't...
Read moreZdravím všetkých Slovákov a miestnych a Bratislavčanov... Hellloo Dear turist this is trhu .
I was very disappointed, Mrs. the owner or what are they...very Arogant behavior!!!
Locals throw in Papier_triangel packaging Garbage!! Exactly the photo that one gentleman posted here is actually cut into mini black pieces. As if during the night they were besieged by the Potjans!. They sell Arrogant staff rubbish to locals and tourists a normal deserved size My review probably won't do anything! It's always about people! But I know that in Bratislava I will not go for €5 fries to these arrogant boys whose behavior is worse than Langosac. And he will talk to me about Honesty and give me Garbage in the cone, which look like French fries but pieces of spoiled black, gnawed pieces of...
Read moreI used to work in belgian street food, preparing their fries, and these - the procedure, flavour, texture and smell - are closest to the original ones out of Czech republic and Slovakia. I was told they peel the potatoes by hand - if it's true - I really appreciate. I love the fact they enlarged choice, now they sell incredibly tastefull burrito with pulled pork, but I highy recommend to order it w/o rice, as they're willing to prepare it and it's very much welcomed - the hospitality and willingness. Hight selection of sauces. And for me, the highlight is, that you can enjoy your meal with prosecco and not that common, but very fresh and enjoyable hometown beer - Urpiner. The one Slovakian street food you...
