If you’re craving authentic Georgian cuisine in Bratislava, Pirosmani’s Samovar is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The staff is friendly and attentive, always ready to recommend a dish or explain the rich history behind Georgian specialties. The menu is a delightful journey through Georgia’s culinary traditions, with standout dishes like khachapuri (the cheesy bread is heavenly), khinkali (perfectly spiced dumplings), and a variety of hearty stews that are packed with flavor. The wine selection is also impressive, with a great mix of Georgian wines that pair perfectly with the food. What really sets Pirosmani’s Samovar apart is the attention to detail and the authenticity of the flavors. Every dish feels carefully crafted, with fresh ingredients and bold spices that transport you straight to Georgia. Whether you’re a fan of traditional dishes or new to Georgian cuisine, this restaurant offers a dining experience that is both delicious and memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore new flavors or enjoy a comforting, flavorful meal in a cozy setting!

We had an early dinner when the restaurant was still empty, so perfect service just for us :) We had Adzaruli Khachapuri (pizza breag with cheese, egg and butter) - delicious, Georgian salad - sort of like Greek minus cheese, very fresh and well seasoned and we also tried the traditional dumplings Khinkali, ones filled with meat and also the ones filled with mushrooms - especially the mushroom khinkali was out of this world, but both juicy and succulent. We also tried some red and white Georgian wine, which was really ok with the food. The interior is really old fashioned, almost opulent, but works quite well. The chef is great. The only thing I would suggest - create some kind of a tasting dish for two with the most popular traditional dishes, maybe two small khachapuris, knihkalis, a piece of grilled meat or sausage, some salad and pickled veg or spread - and you have a winner!

Certainly deserve some good food after a uphill walk to the Bratislavan Castle right? we roamed into Pirosmani's Samovar, serving Georgian food, interesting, never had any before. The waiter welcomes us with his good recommendations of Georgian lemonade, the Tarragon green one. Crispy, light and with a hint of sarsaparilla alike.. a good Sarsi! we also got the soul warming chicken broth with some bread, likely toasted on a hot stove, very crispy on the outside, soft centre with sourdough notes, satisfying! next on the menu, was a pork grill, very clean taste, with smoky charred bits on the outside, but absolutely tender and succulent on the inside! Georgian food,is good! Glad we tried this, thumbs up!

Ah, the joys of dining out. Have you ever experienced the exquisite pleasure of paying an exorbitant amount of money for a mere morsel of food? Look no further than this Georgian restaurant, where small portion sizes and high prices are the norm. It's like playing Russian roulette with your taste buds - will you be satisfied or left feeling completely empty?

But wait, there's more! Not only will you leave feeling hungry and lighter in the wallet, but you'll also get to enjoy the unprofessional service. The staff is so eager to serve you that they'll bring out the appetizer and main dish all at once...to your wife. Because who needs order or structure when you're dining out? And if you thought you could pay for your meal and get a receipt all in one go, well think again! The restaurant insists on payment upfront, but they'll graciously provide a receipt after.

So, if you're in the mood for an adventure and want to experience the thrill of a possible tourist trap, this is the place for you! Or, you could save yourself the trouble and opt for a fast food joint instead. At least then you'll get what you paid for without...
