ALFA cafe & bistro — Restaurant in Poprad

The coffee is delicious and so is the food. I loved the fact they had vegetarian options for breakfast and lunch. The eggplant lasagna was specifically tasty.

I visited this coffee spot 3 time during my short stay in Poprad, two of the times were positive experiences and the service was very good. But the 3rd time the service was bad. I ordered a flat white and I got a cappuccino, the girl even mentioned it's a cappuccino at first and when I said I have a flat white she quickly said it's a flat white and left. I called her again and said it's not my order, but she insisted it's flat white even though it was clearly not.

I gave a 4 star review because I don't think one bad experience should overshadow the rest, but maybe take care when ordering your coffee as you might receive...

ALFA Café & Bistro is the perfect spot for a relaxing morning or brunch. The coffee was excellent — smooth and aromatic, served with water and a little sweet bite on the side, which is always a nice touch.

🥚 For breakfast, I had poached eggs with hollandaise sauce on artisan bread, topped with smoked salmon, and a side of fresh salad with colorful veggies like radish, carrot, and beetroot. Everything was beautifully plated and tasted as good as it looked — fresh, balanced, and satisfying.

I was there at 10am and got a menu with a variety of breakfast dishes. When I wanted to order they told me, that they have no breakfast. You want to be informed about that when getting the menu. This place shouldn’t be called Bistro, cause it is a café. May be a nice place with good cake and so on but please don‘t confuse people by creating wrong...
