Villa Zauber — Hotel in Poprad

This is a beautiful, modern, newly-built boutique hotel that employs young, energetic, highly professional and knowledgeable staff at the reception desk. All the hotel staff members make an effort to speak English and are unobtrusive but are always there for all of your needs. Service and comfort could not be better. The property is immaculate with furnishings and technology at the high end in the light and airy hotel rooms and other hotel areas. Safe, private car parking is available on the hotel grounds. The free Wi-Fi tended to be weak in our hotel room but quite fast in the hotel lobby. Having said this, the hotel staff assured us that the hotel management is currently looking into the matter. The hotel is a walkable distance to town and nearby restaurants. A more than adequate breakfast was served but do not expect a wide choice of hot food dishes. This is a great hotel to explore the High Tatras mountains, 16th-century neighbourhood of Spišská Sobota and the popular thermal water park. Would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward...

Bei der Buchung wurde eine rund um die Uhr besetzte Rezeption und eine Bar versprochen. Daraufhin haben wir zwei Zimmer für zwei Übernachtungen für meine Frau und mich und für meinen Schwiegervater gebucht und wir mussten feststellen, dass dort kein besetzter Empfang bei unserer Anreise war. Wir bekamen eine SMS, wo uns mitgeteilt wurde, dass wir den Schlüssel mit einem Code aus einem Schloss holen müssen. Das funktionierte problemlos.|Es war auch keine Möglichkeit, irgendwo zu sitzen und ein Glas Wein zu trinken, so dass wir beim Lidl um die Ecke Getränke holen mussten und diese im Zimmer konsumiert haben. Das Hotel liegt mitten in einem Industriegebiet.|So hatten wir uns das nicht vorgestellt. Mit der Sauberkeit sind wir absolut nicht zufrieden, weil meine Frau im Bett zwei Haare gefunden hat. Der Teppich ist sehr schmutzig und wurde wahrscheinlich noch niemals gereinigt.|Es war im Zimmer auch sehr laut weil der Zug Lärm trotz geschlossenem Fenster sehr störte.|Die Züge fahren auch spät nachts.|Wenn jemand eine Klimaanlage erwartet, wird er auch enttäuscht sein. Sowas gibt es nicht. Da ist nur ein alter Ventilator, der im Raum steht. Im Seifenspender war uralte, eingetrocknete Seife.|Mit dem Frühstück wurden alle Gäste ignoriert und die Dame, die zuständig war, hat sich versteckt. Für neun Gäste, die zu der Zeit, wo wir da waren im Frühstücksraum waren, gab es acht Scheiben Käse 8 und 7 Scheiben Salami und nur eine Sorte weißes Brötchen. Es gab kein frisches Obst, kein Ei. Nach Nachfrage wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass früher Spiegeleier gegeben hat aber jetzt nicht mehr. Auf den Bildern sind schöne Servietten abgebildet. Leider gab es nur Taschentücher aus einer Schachtel und das Besteck musste man sich selber holen. |Den zweiten Frühstück haben wir Lachs, Joghurt und Brot zu gekauft.||Später im Zimmer haben wir festgestellt dass Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nach gefüllt.|Das Badezimmer war nicht geputzt, wie man das erwarten könnte und die Handtücher waren komplett zerrissen und uralt. Beim auschecken hat uns keiner gefragt, ob wir zufrieden waren dass war den Mitarbeitern egal. Wir können dieses Hotel, soweit man das als Hotel bezeichnen kann, nicht...

Overall, the hotel was very nice: modern and clean. The different staff members were very friendly and personal. You really feel welcome in this hotel!||Breakfast is good and has most of the major items only no croissants. ||The hotel is located near a railway. Sometimes trains pass, it is not recommended to leave the window open by night. If closed, you almost don't hear the train passing. You can also hear the plumbing in the other room, but this is no issue by night.
