WAU Wafflato Universe — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

The “I don’t have girl”. I was there twice, first time she didn’t have a lot of fruits necessary for the smoothies on the menu (they only have three types). Second time, still no fruit, only strawberries and banana, I say ok let’s have one smoothie anyway, she puts tons of water and the result was so bad, I ask please give me the small one, she says of course “I don’t have the small glass, only big”, I had to pay more for a big cup of watery mashed strawberries. The following day I passed by and she was serving two tourists and I still heard her say “I don’t have…” I laughed it off.

Edit: the owner replied about mango smoothie, I don’t even like mango, I never asked for mango smoothie, But whatever she had. I was open to whatever she had, and still she missed basics like even the small cups (I only have one last crooked one so I can only give you the big one). The two fruits she used were not the best and she added so much water to compensate the lack of fruit that unfortunately it was not good. I added three stars for the effort, but if someone really wants a great smoothie, I advise to go to “Cacao”...

Perfect waffels! ❤ I recommend this place if you want to eat the BEST waffel in Ljubljana (and trust me, I tried all of them ;) ) We ate here on Saturday at 21:20, but the guy who served us was really kind, helpful, and full of positive energy, even if it was really late 🥰 I enjoyed his present more than the delicious waffels that he made us. We asked a lot of specified things, like no marshmallows, no starberries etc. (for 3 waffels), but he just kept smiling and offering us thousand of options :) Sadly, I forgot to ask his name, but if you are reading this: thank you from Hungary, and keep up this good work, you are the BEST waffel maker in Ljubljana and your boss can be really proud, i'm sure i will tell everyone who visit Ljubljana...

I love WAU! Thank you to Mikhail for making me feel so welcome and at home in Ljubljana. The waffles are delicious (and so is the coffee and the cheese soufflé- I highly recommend both) but even more special is that the food feels like it’s made with so much love and care. Even beyond that, WAU felt more like being hosted by a friend than buying in a shop. SO lovely and will be back as soon as I return to Ljubljana!...
