We were 4 people, at the time we strolled in, around 13h00, there was only 1 other table inside and 1 outside taken. We asked for a table close to the airconditioning (a young child was with us), as it was 34 degr and a scorcher of a day. The waiter told one of us (who had asked in his own language, Slovenian) that the table we wanted was reserved, so we nearly left, but when asked again in English, the "reservation" instantly disappeared. We sat down, had great pizza's and wonderful drinks and by the time we left, approx 1 hour later, the same amount of people was in the restaurant: 1 table inside and 1 outside. Pointer for the waiter : do not lie or discriminate locals over tourists (in your perception), they bring you good business, especially not when 2 are hospitality experts who know the area well. Uncompromisingly the best pizza I’ve had in the last five years. I walked into this place with no expectations—and walked out amazed. The experience began with a genuinely warm welcome from the staff and only got better from there. The pizza was unforgettable: truly Italian in spirit, with a fresh, crunchy, and beautifully asymmetrical crust that added to its authenticity. Every bite reflected quality and care.

Nous sommes entrés dans ce restaurant avec hâte de déguster les pizzas proposés sur la carte. Un peu surpris qu’il n’y ait que 5-6 pizzas et aucun autre plat (type salade/risotto etc) proposés. Mais cela nous convenait.

La serveuse très agréable au départ prend notre commande et nous sert les boissons. D’autres personnes s’installent aux tables autour de nous. Première surprise : certains ont deux cartes (une avec des plats et salades). Deuxième surprise, ces personnes là arrivées bien après nous sont servies 5 min après. Nous attendons toujours nos pizzas, aucune info de la serveuse.

Nous décidons de demander la note des boissons et partir. La serveuse non contrariante ramène la note avec les boissons et les pizzas, je commence à lui expliquer que nous attendons depuis un moment maintenant et que les tables arrivées après nous sont déjà en train de manger et que cela n’est pas normal.

D’un seul coup nos pizzas arrivent…quel hasard ! Nous les mangeons, très contrariés. De plus elles sont loin d’être extraordinaires, celle à la truffe est pleine d’huile. La serveuse repasse, et m’explique que ce n’est pas de sa faute, le chef est seul en cuisine et a dû nous oublier.

Je lui fais remarquer que c’est également à elle d’indiquer au chef qu’une table arrivée dans les premiers n’est pas encore servie alors que les gens ayant commandé il y a 5min sont déjà en train de manger.
