The restaurant is in a small mall that's very congested next to a petrol garage ..ipic center kenridge ,so don't be disillusioned by the name and expect any vineyard views or scenery . It's extremely cramped inside when we visited on a Saturday morning .chairs and tables are basically On top of one another If you push your chair out you are hitting the person behind you. You are literally sitting between aisles of groceries . You can barely hear your own partner talking as it is so noisy for a tiny area cramped with maz amount of chairs . We had to sit at the counter facing the coffee machines and ladies making the beverages at first high stools ,no back rest . It's a deli selling freshly baked goods ,pies and many cramped shelves of different types of produce . And part of the shop is this restaurant coffee shop.now for the food, the eggs Benedict with salmon was bland ,the sauce so weak and thin ,no seasoning at all. Eggs were not as runny as I would have liked, however they are not shy with the salmon and gave a generous portion of the salmon. The rolls it was baked on was so overtoasted and tough that my fingers got sore from trying to cut through them ,you will note I have taken a Pic of the left over rolls as I could not fight with food anymore . My partner had the farmhouse breakfast, what's was supposed to be a sausage was a Vienna cut up. Basic eggs bacon sausage tomatoes, nothing exciting nor worth it . Ordered a plate of chips , got crisps that were so oily and mushy ,pic showing how they ended up also on review .The drinks were good, though . But they are overpriced. R528 for breakfast, plate of soggy chips and 2 drinks . Latte and red cuppa . We order some specialty bakes from them for take away , the brownie and nut bar is very nice . Overall this is not a relaxing breakfast spot ,more quick eat and dash place , the food is not great at all, you can cook a better meal at home or visit the wimpy for cheaper prices . I dont understand what the fuss is about this place it is way too noisy , and too cramped ,looking out at a car park ,not my idea of a soothing breakfast spot. The bakes and pies are all left out uncovered , help yourself, as woman flick their long hair over it ( tables and chairs surrounding the open area for you to have ur meals)kids cough &sneeze on the cupcakes , speciality breads, brownies , germs galore , not even a net covers these items all open to all kinds of unhygienic exposure, not to mention you in front of a petrol station . No thank you

🍽️ Just tried the newly expanded restaurant at my favorite local deli! The extra seating is a great improvement, no more cramped atmosphere. 😍 🥣 Went for a light breakfast today and opted for the muesli yoghurt fruit and honey option. Unfortunately, it wasn't my favorite. The muesli was quite bland and there was very little honey offered. I did ask for more, and while the waitress brought it, she made sure to administer it in smaller amounts, probably to prevent abuse. 😅 🍵 Wanted to try a ginger mint or herbal tea, but they only had green tea and rooibos tea available. Not a lot of options in the herbal tea department. 💑 On the bright side, my husband had the mince on toast with eggs and he loved it! He highly recommends it if you're looking for a tasty breakfast option. Overall, the expanded space is great, but the breakfast options could use some improvement. Maybe try something other than the muesli! 😊

I simply adore The Vinewyard Deli! Imagine what you would buy if you went around The Mediterranean; Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal then stop off in France, dip into Ceres Valley, pop into Franschoek and return home via the Cape Winelands with all of your most favourite goodies? Well, hop in your car and flitt to this Deli to find all those things - no hassle, no jetlag - right here around the corner. The Vineyard has everything you'd expect in a Deli - then some... Fresh flowers, magazines, newspapers, cigarettes, farm stall quality fruit and veg, ready cooked meals, wine, creamy cakes, aromatic fresh rolls, sweets, decadent chocolates, frozen meals, ice cream, hen and quail eggs, jams, cheeses, pickles, potions, preserves and whatever you want on your charcuterie platter...😋🥂

Been going there for years and years...I however find that since the shop took over the chinese sushi bar at the back and installed a bakery ('great move that one) it is simply unpleasant to shop at the baked goods and bread....too squashed for one person and a badket to move...needs to be changed..its like bees around a honey pot ...people saying ..excuse me..sorry...apologies for bumping you as they move past you to shop...why doesnt owner take over the emply Butchery ...move all the prepared sarmies and hot food kitchen preparation and bakery there in one place...deliveries wld be easier.....then use the areas in the front shop now vacated, to relax the movement in the back aisles..show more bakery and hot takeaway products and increase the coffee tables in the shop?? Tables are always full..also have a variety of gool old fashioned cakes to have with a cup coffee if you are not wanting a meal..cheesecakes...apple tarts...hummingbird cakes..slices I mean...not everyone is a lover of the...
