Read moreMy mother and I were a bit indecisive, to say the least , on the morning of what to grab for breakfast/brunch. One thing we had in common at that moment in time , was the fact that we were craving for a decent meal aswell as a refreshing atmosphere , afterwhich we gazed upon RocoMamas .
It was our first time dining a RocoMamas , and with full confidence we can say it won't be our last . The staff of RocoMamas were truly helpful and friendly from the moment we stood by the entrance , until the time we made our exit.
The introduction to the restaurant was warm and welcoming and the hospitality shown by our waitress , Dominique , for our first experience of Rocomamas was well and truly extraordinary .
She embodied , captured and exhibited the meaning/spirit behind what RocoMamas presents . We were greeted with a smile and warm feeling , aswell as being properly explained through almost every item on the menu .
Too which we could make our final decision of having the limited edition number 3 smasher burger with fries . Which consisted of 3 juicy patties and cheese with bacon , aswell as the fries .
Our order was prepared in close proximity of our eyes in the open kitchen offered by RocoMamas . With all the smells of the spices and raw meats grazing the grills , we couldn't wait for our order .
Upon receiving our order it was nothing short of outstanding . The picture on the menu well and truly came to life before we took our first bite .
It was the best burger and fries we've had in a longtime , and will most certainly be , until we return...

The manager called on our table before our food arrived at which point i responded that all was in order. Our burgers were served on cold buns. I brought this to the attention of the very present manager who made a feeble excuse for the kitchen's folly, claiming that the buns were toasted but probable got cold by the time it reached our table. I inspected the bun and there were zero traces of toasting marks. The manager made no attempt to correct the matter at that time. I cut my burger in half and et one half. My wife refused to eat hers. I asked for take away containers so that we may at least offer this food to someone out on the streets. We asked for our bill, first from the very same manager....nothing was presented. We then asked the neighbouring waitron who responded that our waitron would bring the bill. After a further 10 minutes wait there was still no bill. We were clearly ignored. We stood up and walk out. I spoke to the same manager at the door and told him what we were doing and based on the way we were treated, that we were in our right to walk out. He appologised to me. This was my worse experience. Happy to conclude that the beggar on the street corner had something to eat that afternoon. The day and time:...
