Koffi Terapi — Restaurant in Bellville

One word: horrible! From the food down to the service! A complete and utter waste of money and time. Looking for a lovely breakfast/lunch place? DON'T go here! Go literally anywhere else. The food is NOT decently priced, which is fine if you actually get chicken with your chicken and mayo sandwich for R99 and not just onions with a hint of mayo! Others in our group ordered the breakfasts: eggs and mushrooms were watery, wors was the worst thing I've ever seen. Fries were old, hard, uncooked, stale even! The waiters were SO rude, not attentive at all, and unfriendly! We were seated at a table literally up against the bar with glassware being slammed near our heads (bearing in mind we called to make a reservation). Worst experience ever. So disappointing when your money is wasted on trash like this. Do better!

P.S. This business's response to a complaint speaks volumes of their attitude towards their customers and their pathetic food and why we couldn't address anything in the restaurant! As a regular supporter of Koffi Terapi at the old location in Chenoweth St, I was surprised to discover that it had not closed down, but moved to Willowbridge, when my wife won two vouchers for coffee and cake at the new venue. So we decided to visit today but unfortunately our first impressions were not great.

As soon as we indicated that we had vouchers, things went down hill fast. We were served by three different people, so we could never tell who our actual waiter was. When we ordered our cake, it seemed that the waiter was distracted, and we had to repeat our order. Later on I ordered a sparkling water, specifically so that I could have a bill to leave a tip on, which never arrived. Not once did anyone check on us, and we had to ask someone for a take away box when we were ready to leave.

The irony is that, were it not for the fact that we won the vouchers, we'd have never known you had moved, and had never tried it out. I had expressed to my wife that I really liked the new location, and I intended to make regular use of it, but this experience has left me...

We visited Koffi Terapi today for a girls brunch and we only chose this spot due to the good reviews and the pictures of delicious cake. When we arrived we were told there was no cake besides lemon meringue, despite the menu stating the cake is freshly made on site and that they will only have cake the following day. We then wanted to order a burger but the waiter rudely stated that we can only order from the breakfast menu. The wait was long for the food, the service unfriendly and overall it was a disappointing brunch. We also had to go and look for our waiter countless times to order and ask for takeaway boxes.
