A Memorable Valentine's Experience at Sushi Box Willowbridge

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of celebrating Valentine’s Day at Sushi Box Willowbridge, and it was truly a fantastic experience from start to finish!

Our waiter, Tawana, was an absolute gem—friendly, attentive, and always ensuring we had everything we needed. The entire staff contributed to the restaurant’s welcoming and easygoing vibe, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal.

For our sushi selection, we ordered the Spicy Tuna Box, the Omega 3 Box, and Prawn Poppers, and to our delight, we were treated to Salmon Potstickers on the house! Each dish was beautifully presented and packed with fresh, delicious flavors. The Spicy Tuna had the perfect balance of heat and umami, while the Omega 3 Box was a delightful mix of salmon goodness. The Prawn Poppers were crispy and flavorful, and the Salmon Potstickers were a lovely surprise addition to our meal.

To complement the sushi, I enjoyed a carafe of the First Sighting 2021 Rosé, which paired wonderfully with the fresh seafood flavors, while my boyfriend had a classic Coke.

As a sweet touch, I even received a flower at the end of our meal, making the evening feel even more special.

Overall, Sushi Box Willowbridge exceeded our expectations with its warm hospitality, great atmosphere, and top-tier sushi. We’ll definitely be back for...

Sushi at Sushi Box Willowbridge could have been better if it wasn't served Luke warm. Luke warm salmon...not great. The service was shocking! A busy Saturday at Willowbridge but Sushi box had only the 3 of us as customers sitting inside and 2 customers outside .....had to literally BEG for service from the 2 Waitrose. Get up and go to them standing behind the till to ask for ice. No one came to check if we needed anything. I got up for a 3rd time to ask for more Wasabi. When it came to paying...the male Waitron came over with the card machine and I asked him who owns this Sushi Box....he said: " either...I'm new...I don't know " . I asked him how long he had been working there? 5 months. That is not new. TIP. If you're going to Sushi Box in Willowbridge....stop at Woolies and buy a water or cool drink and buy a snack....because for SURE...you WILL be waiting to get service (in an empty restaurant) ....so you'll need the Woolies snack to tide you over while you for more than an...

I have always wished to dine at Sushi Box and finally got a chance to bring my wife for what was supposed to be a beautiful experience and some delicious sushi for dinner. We ordered from the displayed 10days special and were very pleased to find a sit-down special of free 5pc Umami rolls. We ordered a bottle of wine and some pcs that we've never had before, for the experience, from the 10 days special menu and our waiter informed us that our free pieces will be served later. After finishing our ordered sushi, we waited for the free pieces only to be told later, by our waiter, that they ran out of the Umami rolls and just... "sorry".
