Harbour House Camps Bay — Restaurant in Camps Bay

Bad. We had very simple orders and we were pretty much the only people there. Kingklip was all overcooked, what the menu described as “soft” poached eggs were all hard boiled. “Rare” fillets ranged from medium to blue, and were tough an inedible. I don’t understand how you can charge premium prices for low quality meat prepared in this manner, I’m glad I didn’t order the R590 ribeye! Staff were inattentive, the food took ages to arrive and then we were left with no cutlery and nobody around to notice. We had to get our own from adjacent tables. It was a cold night, and staff opened the door next to us, letting in the freezing air while they began clearing up tables outside. We got the message to leave! Won’t be going back any time soon. I understand it’s a new restaurant but it’s not the first Harbour House in Cape Town so I’m not sure if that excuse applies. Harbour House Camps Bay – A Stunning New Gem!

The newly opened Harbour House in Camps Bay was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the stunning decor — elegant, stylish, and perfectly suited to the breathtaking surroundings.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home from the start. I opted for their Winter set menu, and every dish was a treat. But the highlight for me was the seafood pasta — it was simply out of this world! Fresh, flavorful, and expertly prepared, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Overall, Harbour House has now become my new favorite restaurant in Camps Bay. With its beautiful ambiance, attentive service, and delicious cuisine, I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly...

Today we went to Harbour House Camps Bay. We were late for our booking but, Lisa over the phone was so kind and patient with us. Even on our arrival post her seeing that we arrived she warmly greeted and checked if we were we taken care of. Our waiter Elite, was beyond remarkable. She paid close attention to detail. And made our day a yet memorable. Her warmth from her smile to her service have no amount of words to describe it. She particularly made us feel like royalty. 10/10 Chefs the food captivated so well in my mouth, no fault I could be found. As full as I was I could not stop eating.
