WARNING: BARTENDERS TIP THEMSELVES

Last Friday I was faced a rudeness and impolite behaviour I've never experienced before. I ordered two drinks at the bar and wanted to pay by card. One of the bartender asked for a tip twice but I said just charge me the exact amount because the drinks there are overpriced already (2 Gin & Tonic 150R). Well, tbh it wasn't the first time someone asked me for a tip but what the bartender asked me then was unacceptable. He asked me "what do you do for living" and I said "I'm working". Then he said "yeah I'm working too so better tip me". I've never seen anything so rude before in my life. The bartender definitely has the nose up and thinks he can talk to customers however he wants.

The same night one of my friends ordered a few drinks too. This time, my friend tipped him 20R but then the guy asked for a higher tip. My friend paid by card and did not get a receipt but he checked is balance and saw the guy charged him way more than my friend wanted to pay.

This place is a rip-off and it's hard to beat this rudeness. The behaviour of the bartenders is unacceptable and non tolerated. Besides that the place is way too crowded and the music is only average. I feel forced to share my bad experiences with other people, such a place shouldn't be supported anymore. Waited at least 40 minutes tonight in a queue. And the queue only had Blacks and Asians and Coloureds like myself in.

First we got told the club is full and we have to wait in a queue, while we were standing outside in the queue we could see the bouncers only letting several whites in on arrival. It's sad to say, but became obvious after they let at least 5 groups in without them waiting at all in the very long queue.

Was really disappointed because my past experiences were good there.

I really hope the management sorts there bouncers out, but it looks like nothing is being done because I read the other reviews and I am not the only person having an experience like this.

So it must be management then!!!

I left before even getting in. I advise avoiding Arcade. Overpriced and if it is packed they will only let you in according to ethnicity, which is unacceptable. -_-

the people that work at this establishment are racist! my friends and i were first racially profiled by one of the people that allow people in. he refused to let my friends and i back in, 5 minutes later, he left 4 white men in before us. we pointed it out and that's when he decided to ask how many we were, after swearing and yelling at us, then let us back in. the manager is also not innocent. that same night, we had an issue with one of the guards, and instead of hearing us out, the manager told us to leave the guard alone then started yelling at us when our voices were levelled. currently in the process of taking legal action, as i was left traumatized by the blatant racism from the employees.
