Calling all sushi lovers! I recently stumbled upon a heart warming sushi spot in the heart of Cape Town, and it's quickly become a favorite. Number 1 👏. The quality of the fish is top-notch, and the flavors are exactly what you'd expect from authentic sushi. You even get an internal hug from your stomach saying “thank you”.

We tried the special, which featured 12 delicious pieces, including melt-in-your-mouth salmon roses. It was a real treat! While the spring rolls were good, I'm already planning my next visit to try the miso soup.

Overall, this place deserves a solid 5 stars - maybe more. It's easily one of the top 3 sushi restaurants I've been to. Well done to the Chef and the owners - this is what food is all about!

FYI - I would recommend parking just after Vixi social bar, like that you’re a bit closer to the place and it’s a small spot, so if you’re a big group, order a takeaway and drive down to saunaders sea point for a sunset session.

Oh - and if you want more wasabi - they...

This small, cosy restaurant offers a wonderful experience of Asian cuisine. The food was top quality, fresh seafood and rice was used and the portions were very generous. Sushi was tasty and the roses were absolutely deluxe. I think the price of individual dishes and platters was pretty reasonable. We also had the Sakura cocktail which was great. To end off the night we had hot chocolates. We were helped by friendly staff. The restaurant also stocks Asian items which we bought - some sweets, ramen, bubble tea, fortune cookies. I will definitely be...

Cosy and authentic restaurant. The food looks and tastes delicious. They serve the classic, well-known combinations as well as some who are more original and creative. Less expensive than other sushi restaurants I found in South Africa. Inside their small restaurant are also some shelves where typical Japanese products are stored to sell. Overall, the staff was nice, we had great drinks and food, and a lovely evening. I would definitely recommend this place for a sushi...
