Roman's Pizza Paarl — Restaurant in Drakenstein Local Municipality

Lactose and gluten intolerance doesn't allow for many pizza nights... but Romans is making a way! You can buy a gluten free pizza base, that is paper thin and crispy, but doesn't fall apart nor taste like paper! We order gluten free, with half the cheese so then add a couple extra toppings like mushrooms, garlic and some pepper dews, and the results are awesome! Must phone to ask them to only do half cheese though, cause the option is not availible on the app... Pitty the app also seems to be having payment issues from Standard Bank and Fnb...🤔 i order online and then need to pay in store on collection, cause the online payment never goes through... unless it's just me, but I've tried several times, weekends, cards ... still no joy... picking up and paying in store is quick and staff are friendly though, so its a bit uncomfortable but not too...

I ordered online and my order was placed at 20:17. The message said 15 min. When I got to Roman's Pizza Paarl at 20:40 and told the lady I ordered online she immediately know who I was. Then she told me my order will be ready soon. I then asked how long will it take. She went to the kitchen and the she realized they have not started with my order. I was then told they are starting now. The told me the system is mixed up. I went back to the car . At 20:58 I went back in. My order was ready but when I open the box my one pizza did not have caramelized onion on it. I asked them about it and they said it was not on the order, but it clearly state caramelized onions on my app as per my order. As was about to show them then they said they will put it on my pizza. We've been ordering from Roman's Pizza Paarl for years, but unfortunately the service is not what it used to be. We normally call and collect. I tried calling them non stop for 30 minutes, and had no answer. We then decided to place the order online (this was about at 17:20), and the time of collection was 17:50, as per the online order. When we got there to collect the pizza at 18:00 and only then they opened our online order and started making the pizza's. While waiting for the pizza's inside the store, we could see that staff was just standing around and not answering phone calls.
