1/5 - Gave it another chance, very disappointed. No longer value for money, taste ruined by sauce and drinks came after meal.
We had a terrible experience previously at this Wimpy to the extent that the manager begged us to try them again. I messaged him before going this time and can say it did not help at all.
Drinks order and meal order was taken when we sat down. The drinks arrived AFTER the meal was presented to us. Place wasn't even busy!
Wife, son and myself decided to do the burger special. Daughter wanted chicken strips and chips...
The burgers were ruined as they were drowned in the mayo sauce that it was dripping off the sides. Chips were like 12 chips on the plate.
The 3x chicken strips LOOKED like Fish Fingers but were over cooked to the point just before burnt (so dry inside) and there were like 8 chips on the plate. I gave my 12 chips to my daughter so she could actually have more on her plate.
As we were leaving, one of the managers walked up asking if we enjoyed the meal (this as we walking out) - should have done that BEFORE we got up and started walking out if he was really interested!
We all left still hungry and vowed NEVER to return. Wimpy is sadly no longer value for money and I highly suggest that they do a secret shopper program to really determine what is happening in their...

My dad has a service dog (for clarity we do not have to by any law disclose his information into why he has a service dog, secondly not allowing a service dog into an establishment is a crimal offense) we were told to go sit in the front (there weren't any tables in the front) we also had my nephew alongside us and he wanted to access to incredibly shocking play room and we cannot leave a 3 year old unattended. We haven't seen each other in months and we family had a chance to see each other and wanted to enjoy our wimpy tradition but now we are making new traditions. Read moreWow! The things I can say about this specific Wimpy are all negative hey. This time around, I attempted to give them " the benefit of the doubt ". Man did they not disappoint! Disappoint with the worst service once again! Today was the icing on the cake. My partners castle on tap had FLOATYS! And the way the waitress poured it, the glass was wet! I ask her for something to wipe she doesn't bring it.
Like, is the staff trained there? All the waitresses are moody or cheeky. The manager was ready yo go back and forth with me when I stopped him and said take it all back, we don't want it.
