Kanji Ramen is a quaint and cozy gem, perfect for a date night or just a relaxed evening out.

We started our evening with their pork bao buns and Asian Fillet Carpaccio, both of which were absolutely delicious. The Baby Spinach and Parmesan Salad with a truffle yuzu vinaigrette was a standout—so good it had me licking my lips!

When it came time for ramen, we chose the double beef and double pork bowls. The flavors were bold and perfectly balanced, with the double pork being the clear winner of the night 🤤

The small selection of imported Asian drinks adds a nice touch, and the barman knows how to craft a cocktail with real finesse 😉

Service was attentive and friendly, though it’s worth noting that it does get busy, especially since they don’t take bookings. We visited on Monday the 30th and found arriving around 6-6:30 was ideal for dinner. If you come later, you might need to wait until after 8—but trust me, it’s worth it.

Overall, we had a fantastic evening and are already looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy spot with great...

Kanji Ramen is just WOW! We can honestly say this is the best ramen and gyoza dumplings we ever had. For starters we had the Spinach and Wild Mushroom dumplings, the best ever, extremely tasty and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Absolutely tantalising. The Katsu Fried Chicken bao bun was just as amazing.

For mains my husband had the Double Pork Ramen and his facial expression no words are needed… was absolutely amazing. I had the Mushroom Ramen, the broth was so fresh and flavourful.

We had an amazing date night and this is definitely a new, firm favourite for us. Our waiter (unfortunately I cannot remember his name) was excellent as well, pleasant and funny guy, taking great care of us and all around just everyone in the restaurant. He made great recommendations for drinks. If you want to have a great drink, just ask them, they will recommend and prepare such an enjoyable drink for you.

The vibe is vibrant, the drinks delicious and all over just amazingness. We had such a good time and enjoyed the moment so much, we did not even...

Kanji Ramen does not take any bookings, and only allow walk ins. You will have to wait for a table to open up before you get seated during peak hour. We visited on a Friday evening around 19:00.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. They took our drink orders, and checked up on us while we waited for a table.

The restaurant is quite small and intimate. There is a table in the middle of the restaurant which has plants and potters on it. I believe it could be utilised better for extra tables and seating.

We ordered the cucumber and edamame salad tapa, and tried their Double Beef and Pork ramen 🍜 I was quite disappointed with the portion size of the ramen (the actual noodles). Not sure if it was my luck, but the ramen to broth ratio was pretty bad. The broth wasn’t very hot, and got cold quite quickly.

The restaurant definitely has potential, and I would possibly give it another try in the future if the above has been considered and improved.
