Because of a specific staff member this restaurant does not even deserve half a star I stepped in this place with Romano being the first employee im faced with , his lack of interest toward me was the first thing I noticed. I ordered a full plate of deep fried sushi that he recommended . After directing myself to a seat , I received the plate with fried toppings only ! After questioning Romano about what I was being served, he insisted that it is deep fried . Romano went off to tell his colleagues how he cannot help for me ordering the wrong food etc . To avoid a terrible experience ,avoid this guy! Thank you to the waiter ' Aalia' that took over and thank you to Jack the manager for the discount and apology.

Paid R328 for 2 x Rice Noodle with prawns (Singapore noodles) and enjoy it enough to buy it again, although next time I'd like to try something else. My only criticism would be: 1. The noodles were dry ( not old); it just needed some sauce, maybe teriyaki or soya or something. 2. The prawns still had the tails on, which was incredibly inconvenient in a pasta dish. They can take them off, surely that's not too much to ask. In a nut shell, it's a yes from me. The portions are huge- so I got lunch for tomorrow.

Great Sushi, reasonably priced and not huge lumpy rice pieces but really well made. I will avoid the green curry it didn't taste like green curry, plus there was green food colouring in it to make it more green. Thought my plate swallowed the hulk as it was soooooooooo green. It was not the best. The service was mediocre, the waitress decided to start mopping while we at the our table and the mop reeked of old water.

This place used to be great, recently had poor experiences. Tonight we ordered a takeout for pickup, it's the second time that I've arrived to collect it and the waitress has no idea about the order. The waiters were painfully slow and didn't communicate anything about how long the wait was or why it was delayed etc. They seemed completely confused, the kitchen/behind the bar was chaos. After 15 mins, despite them confirming they'd now given our order, the sushi chef was yelling and saying it wasn't in and to blame the waitress. The waiters were terrible, but the way the sushi chef spoke to them was appalling. Loud, rude, dismissive, he shushed them with his finger in their face, the whole restaurant could hear. People walked out without their orders. I can see from other comments that this is not a one off.

I pointed out that usually after waiting this long (35 mins total) for food that should have been ready, the normal thing to do in hospitality is to apologise or offer eg a complimentary drink or something. There was no acknowledgement at all. Just either blank stares/shrugs from the wait staff or angry vibes from the sushi chef.

Would never order or...

The sushi looked good at a distance and the guy making the sushi was very focused and meticulous. However the place is let down by very poor service. From the time to we got in - 1) being told to sit anywhere with dirty tables 2) being warned by someone “the food is good but service terrible if you willing to wait 3) having to ask a waitress to take our order after waiting 20 mins 4) after another 20 mins going to ask for our drinks 5) another 30 mins being told our order was mixed up 6) asked for our sushi order to be cancelled but then it ended up going to another table 7) asking to pay and being told to go to the front but there was no staff there.. 8) Lastly it was so sad to see the number of people who came in smiling, sat down and then walked out because they were not served ( I counted 6 in the time we were there) So all I can hope is the owner can see this and increase the number of staff and service training because I really wanted to taste the sushi and I am willing to give the place another try if you can improve...

Would not recommend. Waited extremely long even to get a menu. Asked for ice from three different waiters which never arrived. Asked for sauce which never actually even arrived. My boyfriend is allergic to Avo and got served a plate full of Avo maki when we ordered salmon. The food took ages, the service was extremely slow, food was wrong, took forever to order . When the food eventually did come, it was extremely average, absolutely nothing amazing about it. Paid a 600 rand bill and couldn’t even eat any of it. The dim sums were mushy and not nice. All three of the waiters seemed to be spinning and saying how busy it was even though there were about 8 tables max in the restaurant. Ive been to many restaurants and work in the industry myself and can’t comprehend how this makes any sense. VERY...
