My day began with a delightful encounter at Starbucks, where I met a vibrant, happy lady spreading joy to the staff. She shared her social media activities with me, which was inspiring. Later, I saw her at AKTI Mediterranean, speaking with the manager and a cheerful security guard. I couldn't resist sharing the positive message on my Starbucks cup and mentioned to the manager that if she was talking to them, they must be doing something right.

Though I'm not usually drawn to Mediterranean cuisine, I've been to AKTI Mediterranean four times now, and each visit has been exceptional. The food is consistently delicious, with the baked feta standing out as an aesthetically appealing and creative dish. The service is impeccable, often starting with Roxy, a manager who always hands me off to amazing staff members. Their attentive service, including the timely removal of plates, enhances the dining experience.

When I first tried AKTI Mediterranean, I was having a wicked bad day and was seeking comfort in what I thought was healthy food. The Greek salad, baked feta, and rice pudding provided a much-needed boost. The flavorful food satisfied my cravings without impacting my waistline like some other garbage I could have been eating.

One memorable moment was meeting the mother of the owner, the creator of some of my favorite dishes. I thanked her in Greek, explaining that my frequent conversations with the managers were filled with compliments, not complaints. The high standard of excellence at AKTI Mediterranean is evident in every aspect, from the professionalism of the chef to the guidance of the managers and the execution by the staff.

Interestingly, I might never have tried AKTI Mediterranean if it weren't for Naomi, a regular patron. Her interactions with the staff and management piqued my interest, leading me to give it a try. Now, it has become my go-to spot for discovering special dishes for my special someone.

For some reason you cannot get utensils for takeaways. Either from the business or ordering on food delivery apps. This is highly disappointing as I would even pay extra to not have to eat like a cave man for...

Unfortunately, my experience Akti was overwhelmingly disappointing. While the aesthetics of the restaurant are undeniably beautiful and well-curated, that’s about the only thing worth remembering. The service and overall hospitality were far below what one would expect from a place with such an appealing ambiance.

We were "greeted" by a young mixed-race lady with glasses, I didn’t catch her namel, who made the entire evening feel rushed and uncomfortable. From the start, she hovered around our table, repeatedly telling us we were “running out of time,” even before we had placed an order. There was no clear mention of time limits on the website, yet we were being nudged and poke, literall...by this staff member as if we were a burden.

To make things worse, we sat waving for over 20 minutes just to be served. When we finally got someone’s attention, it was only because the manager stepped in, but even then, the damage had already been done. My friend had to rush through their meal, even choking multiple times, because we were told time was running out. No concern, no grace, just pressure.

The food? Mediocre at best. Certainly not worth the anxiety and disrespect we endured. A pretty setting does not make up for poor service and a lack of basic customer courtesy.

Akti feels like a restaurant more invested in looking good than being good. I left feeling disappointed, embarrassed, and let down. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming dining experience. You...

Poor management service!

I want to express my concerns regarding this evenings experience at your restaurant. We often eat at your restaurant end enjoy the food and atmosphere but unfortunately the service we received from your manager this evening did not meet the expectations that we have come to associate with Akti. We had just finished our starters, and friends that were at the restaurant came to greet us at our table.

I was taken aback by the conduct of the manager as it wasn't even 2 min that we were talking with our friends and the manager came and asked them to go and sit at their table as if they were chidren misbehaving as the neighboring patrons had complained because they were talking to us! ( You can even have a look at your cameras ) We were very disappointed that we were treated in this manner, as we didn't feel welcome anymore so we canceled our mains and called for our bill.
