The Ivy is a sushi bar that is famous for its burgers and steaks. I tried the sushi and it a 3.5 out of 5 decent however you can get better sushi else where. The venue its self is lovely, the views are relaxing an ideal place to grab a drink after work or tapas with your mates 😀
I recommend their spicy mojito
Since my last visit I went and asked for a sushi suggestion the manager Lucky recommended an awesome 5/5 plate.
The spot also jumps on a weekend. The spot definitely draws in a ton of ladies 🌸
2025 update The ivy look and feel has been modernised and updated it still a very chic hangout. I was there on a Friday night and it was very much giving date night and friends reunion. Good atmosphere. The food… let’s talk about I was sooooo dissatisfied with the wings they were lacking in the umami, salty savoury flavours.

Read moreMy cousin hosted her birthday dinner at the Ivy. Despite her pre-arranging with the waiter, the dinner menus were not printed out in terms of the agreement and we weren't told about the food until she kept asking. The food was good though (when it arrived).

When we tried to leave the restaurant, they got their "bodyguards" to block us because we couldn't leave without paying for the drinks that we didn't even have. They couldn't even show us that we had those drinks. We ended up paying for those drinks because it was 21:30 and the curfew was 22:00.
They clearly can't keep track of who drinks what and where.
So disappointed. Will surely...
Read moreWas really super excited about going to this new trendy place to go for drinks in good old Bedfordview.... unfortunately my expectations were higher than the actual experience. Dont get me wrong, you are spoilt for choice in the drinks department having many signature cocktails, gourmet G&T's, wines and champagnes to choose from, But I was sort of dissatisfied with the rough edges of the place. The menus were scruffy and dirty and the astroturf looked like it is filthy and had barely made it through the 2nd world war. Seems as if this place is trying desperately to provide a rich, luxurious, expensive experience... but you can see through the facade. The food was delicious, the drinks were great, just dont think it's...
