Brooklyn Brothers Bedford — Restaurant in Gauteng

Highly disappointed with this place, and do not recommend it whatsoever, even if they changed the entire kitchens staff, I will never set foot or want any other family or person to go through what we did in our experience there and I will go out of my way to let everyone else know on every platform that this is not a good dining facility!! Trust me!!!

We were expecting to take the entire family of 11 out and turned out to be terrible!!!! Knowing we were a few heads to feed, we were the only other people in there on a Saturday And we did try willingly knowing the kids will get upset and are deadset on dining somewhere. Almost all the meals were off!!!!!, I could actually see whomever was preparing the meal assuming the customers are under the influence or some sort think its okay to serve chicken that age.

Pitty because the owner or owners spent alot building this place for someone to throw away business like that. The worst part was actually paying that bill in the end only to have chips and drinks well enough to consume, everyone knows its impolite to turn away but in this case customers have the opportunity to learn from reviews like this no every platform! Manager did not even apologize or say a friendly word to us possibly because he/she knowingly serving us food that old!

I am a regular customer at Brooklyn Brothers and also known to the staff. . Today was pathetic. I had a choice of going to other restuarants but my son insisted on Brooklyn Brothers because he loves the beef burgers. We did not get what we wanted because there were no beef burgers. We were offered chicken burgers which was really not nice. I reported it to the 2 ladies. As we were about to leave we were offered a complimentary meal. I said Thank You, but it is really not necessary and its not about getting free meal, as im a regular customer and also known to the staff. I pay for whatever I want and support your business quite often and im generous to who ever attends to me. While at our table, a male waiter came to our table asking for the chip spice. He did not even wipe it, took it off our table with permission and put it on the guest table besides us. I asked him, are you not wiping or sanatisng the shaker that you moving from one table. What about Hygiene?

The lady offered a waffel. I was in a rush and said it was not necessary. She insisted and i accept it which i eventually did as she was being kind. When i got home and put it on a plate for my boy and he camè to me and showed the hair in the waffel. I immediately contacted Brooklyn Brothers when I got home.

I originally posted this here but took it down to rather address it via email. Nearly a month later on their "preferred channel of feedback" and no response.

Here's why I won't be going back here again- and why you may not want to either...

Me and a friend have been going on a regular basis for 2/3 years to the Bedford branch and the new menu will make sure we will not go again.

Apart from the fact that you now pay more for less and poorer quality food, more irritating is that they have removed all flavours on their wings for "smiling" (?) mild, hot and very hot.

But it seems no one told the person compiling the new menu, who copy-pasted the promise of 6 flavour choices for one menu item with only 4 available.

The burger options have also shrunk to only a handful of chicken options.

For a restaurant that seems to have built its name on wings and burgers, neither option is worth it anymore.

From our latest visit to the restaurant, it seems people are making their dissatisfaction felt by simply not going anymore.
