Chicken Hub — Restaurant in Gauteng

This is an honest review I hope the owner sees so they can change things up. I only went during the buy one get one free special and wont go back since the special is over. The place is extremely noisy probably from that giant inflatable they have. They hardly give any chips you will receive 10 chips if you're lucky, they always come cold with the tiniest tomato sauce packet so you'll have to use your own at home. The crispy chicken burger isn't actual chicken it tastes gross and I'm sure they've mixed a bunch of strange things in there, you'll find mielies / corn flakes in there too who knows why that's a good idea... once again your food comes Luke warm / cold. The chicken pieces are so drenched in oil that you struggle to bite it, its so hard. You feel sick after one bite because you're basically just consuming oil. The prices aren't too bad but the quality of food and general experience is terrible. I only gave you guys an extra star because the person at the till mon - Friday is always friendly and happy even though she has to listen to that dreadful noise the whole day. I have not been to the place itself yet but I have ordered it on Mr.D 4 times now and they have not disappointed me yet I usually go for the honey mustard burger and the sweet chili burger either chicken or beef and I also love their wraps it is affordable and I want to say congratulations on the product you deliver for the price you ask as a food and beverage industry expert I know how difficult it is to produce food at that price for that volume and I want to tell you that you are the real hero’s of our great nation because you are producing food for the people and not for profit, and for all the other people that have commented before me I do not discard your opinions but this restaurant is in the position to make their food a lot more expensive to compare with others but give them some time to get their recipes right their staff right and you will see slow and steady wins the race.

The prices are nothing short of amazing. I had a friend of mine who'd been raving about their chicken wrap so i took a 20km drive to go and sample it for myself and I can now understand why he has.been raving so much . First of all the wrap is massive. The size of a schwarma basically, and packed full of fillings. I had the wrap meal only without any beverage and still I was stuffed afterwards. Unlike many places which leave you craving second servings, this place's portions will leave you fully satiated and satisfied. The value for money aspect is astronomical.
