I order a Margarita pizza from Col'Cacchio Benmore on Uber Eats promotion buy 1 get 1 free. The pizza was dry! Barely any cheese on the pizza. Small blotches of cheese scattered across the pizza. I figured let me call Col'Cacchio Benmore and make them aware of the bad standard of pizza I received. According to the manager there. The pizza is supposed to be like this. The manager even went so far as to educate me on their portion size. 130g of cheese is put on each pizza. After trying to resolve the issue with the manager by sending him the same photos as illustrated here. He said nothing was wrong. After even sending him a picture from Col'Cacchio's menu, advertising what their Margarita pizza looks like. The response was: And that’s what you got. And was further told that Pictures are for illustration purposes and websites. We did nothing wrong. Thank you for your support. One can't be so blind to see that there is barely any cheese on this pizza and the sense of arrogance to try and justify the quality of your product is dismal. If this is the kind of pizza Col'Cacchio's serves it's a no thank...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at this establishment. Their pricing strategy left me feeling a bit uncertain.
It's surprising that a pizza place doesn't offer pepperoni pizzas as a standard option, and the additional cost for this topping being nearly 50% of the pizza's price seems excessive. It's as though they're trying to upsell everything as optional extras. Personally, I would prefer to spend my money at a pizzeria that includes pepperoni pizza on their menu. I found better value for my money at Polpetta Ristorante, where pepperoni pizzas are a part of their regular offerings. and only R115 as apposed to R140 This stark difference in price really makes me question Col'Casshio's pricing integrity given how pepperoni an extra for them.
Furthermore, charging R35 for a boss ice tea feels quite steep. I've paid less for imported drinks at specialty stores.
All in all, I didn't find the overall experience to be...
Read moreMy partner and I have been vegan for 5 years and have tried countless vegan pizzas in that time, none of them enticing enough to have us order it again. Col'Cachio just set the new standard. We had been putting off going to Col'Cachio because of the prices but after the pizzas we just had we will definitely be back for more. It is the best quality vegan pizza we've had,I don't know what cheese they use but it's brilliant. We're usually not a fan of vegan cheese and often get pizzas without any cheese because of our dislike. We were pleasantly surprised today. Also hats off to the regional operations manager, very nice guy with good values which we always appreciate. It's good to know there are good people behind the...
