Fishaways Carlton Centre — Restaurant in Gauteng

The attitude they gave me when I was placing my order was so bad towards. The was they talking to each other was so bad the language they were using felt like they all hate each other. The fish was burning and one of the staff members was even shouting that the fish is burning and she wasn't doing anything about it. The food they served was so small, I know because I am used to ordering that meal from other Fishaways around Gauteng. When I got there the lady at the counter was on her phone while the table that was available was dirty she only cleaned it when she saw us going to sit down. They didn't have small cold drinks. I am so disgusted and very disappointed. Poorest service I've ever experienced. 1 cashier, 1 person in the kitchen. Cashier doesn't even know their menu. I bought a meal and a salad separately. She's telling me it's a stir fry that I want it's not a salad. I had to point at the menu. Still she disagreed until the one in the kitchen came to the front to assist. Only then she understood. All good and well. I got my order I got home when I opened the food. WOW shock of my life. 1 spoon of rice that was pressed down, 3 calamari strips. The food looked like I had eaten before I even started. Please do something about this or else...

I bought seafood pot for 2 for R159.. I asked for no sauce but they gave me an overcooked rice wth seafood drizzled wth sweet chillie. I had bought a thousand island sauce and l spotted her packing lemon butter and had to remind her. She wasn't paying attention bcz she kept on talking abt closing at 7 so she needs to clean... I bought wth money and I was hoping to be given the value of my money but was very disappointed...
