KAUAI Virgin Active Modderfontein — Restaurant in Gauteng

Guys I've given many of your other stores 5 stars. I really love Kauai. But this store is really not up to standard. The staff are very rude and grumpy. It feels like they are doing you a favour by serving you. The smoothie was too watery. The salad was okay. I could see not a lot of care is taken in preparing the items.

Ordering was not easy. First I was told my code is not a valid code, there are too many numbers. 4 attempts later and after muttering behind the counter the code is indeed valid. I told the lady I would like to sit down and eat and she brings it all in a takeaway. Please may I have a fork? Muttering. Wow really not a...

Tried to order from this Kauai twice on Uber eats and both times (different weeks) the order goes through and 20 minutes later, the order gets canceled by the merchant. Both times, I've viewed to see that they are accepting orders, no where does it say they are closed (as other places have it stated) and after I've palced my order, and the amount deducted from my bank account, a long wait only to have my order canceled. Really pathetic and to go in to the gym to order at the counter, the staff are rude and always in the kitchen talking or either shouting from front...

Ordered from Uber Eats. Food came within 30mins and was neatly wrapped and fresh and should I mention tasty.

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the experience in the branch as I have not been there before and I am not a gym member.

But will definitely be ordering from them via Uber Eats in future.
