Greenstone Ridge — Local services in Gauteng

So I've been living here for almost 2 years now and I am enjoying the place. Nice upmarket feel to the estate, as well as a comprehensive clubhouse, gym and restorant (pre-lockdown),, restorant hasn't operated since lockdown(really miss their menu) but the gym has re-opened and we make good use of the squash court some months. Haven't really played much of the other ball games as they are usually occupied. The estate feels secure and the security guards are awesome for the most part. Luxurious area with everything you need just a hop away. We'll informed community group which I recommend being a part of if living in the estate. My only pet peeve is the layed brick roads and stone/cement speed bumps which rattle your car or bike's nuts loose and just accelerate the wear and tear on your commuting asset.. And maybe the fact that our specific unit's power does not come back after load shedding so we have to call the guards to come re-prime by the breaker..but that's only our unit and we're on it, hope to get it sorted out soon as it's very frustrating.. A very beautiful residential estate complete with a lifestyle center. A serene environment with some very stunning view of the surrounding areas. I visited twice and was completely captivated by the serenity, beauty, and landscape of the estate. It is an upscale area with multinational inhabitants. The Lifestyle center is fitted with recreational amenities to cater for the old and young. There is a big swimming pool, a children play ground, a gym, a lounge, and so on. There is also a free wifi with the connection details visible for all to see. The streets are well paved and the lawns well mowed. The place is well secured with with bio metrics need to gain entrance at the gate. I will end by saying that Greenstone Ridge is a place I will love to...

5+ years in this complex...time to move and find something better. You want honest opinion: Pros. -Beautiful and the rooms are spacious. -Close to most highways,airport is just 10 mins drive. Lots of shopping centers..you can actually walk to many of them. Cons: 1.Days without water..very normal here 2.Days without electricity...very normal here 3.Fiber..most have decided to buy those mobile modems..always issues with Vumatel 4.Of late,the security has no power whatsoever to enforce order. . Its normal for residents to play music till 5am. 6.Board of Trustees seems not to care at all...issues takes years to be sorted.
