Dear KFC Management,
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with the service my partner and I received at the KFC Grayston Drive location on 2024/04/03. This is the second occasion where we have encountered unsatisfactory service from Winny, the cashier.
Firstly, Winny refused to allow us to make separate payments using cash and card during a previous visit. During our most recent visit, she insisted on charging us extra to swap out tangy sauce for white sauce in the burger that came with the All Star Box.
When questioned, Winny claimed it was part of KFC procedure to charge extra for the sauce swap. However, I have frequented many KFC outlets and have never been charged extra for such a request, which is akin to selecting chicken pieces when placing an order.
Moreover, the drive-thru speaker miscommunication led Winny to consult the manager on duty, Olivia. Despite our polite demeanor, Olivia's attitude was dismissive and she informed us that it would be the last time she would accommodate such a request.
Furthermore, when we requested to see the procedure regarding sauce swaps, we were told that the learning zone system and printer were offline. This lack of transparency is concerning.
Adding to the poor experience, we overheard staff members hurling insults at us while we waited. Shockingly, Olivia failed to address or reprimand this unprofessional behavior, instead joining in their laughter.
Upon receiving our order, we found the burger in the All Star Box lacked garnish, necessitating a return to the store for correction. Additionally, other discrepancies included being given large crusher straws for a small drink, no ice in the drink, and gravy poured into a regular container instead of a small one.
It is unacceptable that your staff rigidly adhere to procedure when denying customer requests, yet fail to follow procedures themselves. This inconsistency in service standards reflects poorly on KFC as a whole.
I expect a swift and satisfactory resolution to this matter. I was told the RGM is Owageng, and that the AC is Mosonwabe.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was extremely disappointing. The chicken was far from fresh, and I received three wings instead of a proper portion. The mash and gravy were inedible due to a burnt, bitter taste. I had also ordered two mini loaves but was instead given two snack burger buns.
I contacted KFC customer care to raise these concerns, only to be told that the issue lies with Mr D and that I should follow up with them. To add to the frustration, the consultant then asked me to stay on the line to rate his service—completely disregarding the actual complaint. (Don't ask me for my details and to email customer care, you closed my complaint KFC CAS-2633340-W3B5L1) I need my refund so I can prepare my own chicken.
KFC Grayston Drive used to be one of the best locations for both food quality and in-store customer experience. Sadly, it seems that with new management, standards have slipped dramatically. If you're sacrificing quality and service, don't be surprised when customers stop coming back.

I mean your cashier today literally gave me attitude for whatever reason I don't know about. First she walks out on me while still processing my order. Next she came back rushing me then printed my bill before I even finish relaying my order. Then I asked for the sub total and I gave her notes and coins that's when she asked me with an attitude like I'm wasting her time with my form of payment .... Like " how much is this" eyes rolling. Then she closed the bill and walked away never gave me my change nor asked if I wanna donate R2 to HOPE even though I wanted to as that's what I always do. Then I waited till she called me to collect my order. I never double checked as I was frustrated with her attitude. Only to get home to find there's my Streetwise 2 chips and four zinger wings.
