McDonald’s Waterfall, located in one of Gauteng’s prime areas, continues to disappoint. What should be a flagship store feels poorly managed and chaotic.

This wasn’t my first bad experience — and unfortunately, it seems to be getting worse. I waited 30 minutes in the drive-through queue, then another 15 minutes after ordering. Despite the long wait, my order arrived incomplete — they forgot the sauces altogether.

Basic items like Sweet & Sour sauce have been unavailable for over two months, and Happy Meal toys are almost never in stock. These are small touches, but they matter — especially to loyal customers with kids.

The staff seem overwhelmed and unable to manage the steady flow of customers, and it’s clear that operations at this branch need serious attention. It’s a real pity that a McDonald’s in such a key location is...

I have complained about the service at this macdonalds on this platform before and gotten an apology but nothing seems to change. We went this morning had correct our order 3 times nearly got over charged and if we hadn't had checked we wouldn't gotten the wrong order. What is going on with this branch?? We have complained before, the second time this happened we didn't complain because we just put it down to a mistake but now this is the 3rd time and the second time I am complaining. This branch seems to be neglected by the Macdonalds branch or the training is just not up to standard. For us locals this is not great and I've always loved mcdonald's since I was a young girl but I'm slowly starting to lose that nostalgic feeling....

As a regular, it pains me to even write this, but absolutely poor service from the night shift staff lately specifically those who work from 21:00-00:00pm shift.

However, today the service was beyond pathetic. Firstly, i waited 28 minutes for an Apple Pie&Sundae. Secondly, as I checked my order, I notice ive been given the wrong pie (a blueberry pie) which just so happens is something I am allergic too! Nor the manager or anyone could rectify this matter without wasting another 28mins of my life waiting for another pie to be made! Ridiculous!
