Mcdonalds Waterklook customer service is VERY POOR.

I placed an order on Friday 2nd of February and the order was incorrect. I called the customer service to complain about my order and they called the store and it was confirmed that I will receive my order soon.

About two hours later I did not receive my order, Called the customer service again and I was told that the order will be delivered soon.

I decided to call the store direct and the lady told me order will be delivered soon. After three hours of waiting I called them again and the lady told mne that the order will not be delivered because it was the correct order. I explained to her that I do have the order and the slip she can send a driver to take the order so that she can verify the order and she told me sorry she will not.

I told her that I will keep this order and untill she will collect the order.

Monday 4th February I called the customer service and it was confirmed by the store that the correct order will be delivered.

Finally Order gets delivered, Guess what THE WRONG order again only one ice-cream was delivered. I called them again and I spoke to the manager and she assured me that the correct will be deliver. OH MY WORD THE ORDER IS STILL NOT WHAT I HAVE ORDER.

THIS IS VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL REPORT THIS AND LET PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THIS BAD SERVICE.

I went back to this place after 2 years to give it another chance from it's initial 1 star review. Ok so i do not get a lot of Macdonalds, i do not really understand the hype. I downloaded the app on the wim, and got a deal to buy a specific meal for R90, then get a mini burger with it for free. So when i tried to redeem it, i did not really know how, so the staff, this one lady was soo sweet and helpfull and patient. Their customer service did improve a hole lot. 5 star for service. But.. here is where it got weird... as we were going through the stuff my total under up being R136 something.. so i was confuses as the app said like R90? And i did not add any other items or upsize anything... and i asked again about the app amount and why it got more expensive... she could not really tell me.. so i just dropped it and bought it as i did not want to cause problems.. i got the food.. and it was so bad.. like plain. The burger tasted like cardboard, the patty was sooo dry that it stuck to my throat, and i could almost not swallow, i take very small bites usually. I nearly had to down the drink. It was just so bad and messy. The only thing that was amazing was the chips. Those are addictive.. but jo that burger was gross.. I would not pay that price for...

Like another reviewer mentioned, tried this establishment after a long time. Prices are too expensive for what is given. During the day if you don't need a drive through quick bite rather go somewhere else. Even a basic steers is now cheaper and better quality.

At night it is neither fast food, or cheap. I struggle to understand the hype. Took 20 minutes on a Saturday evening at around 20:00-20:30.

The ice cream sundae has a terrible, blatant artificial taste. The milkshake I ordered was 1/3 super sweet liquid on the bottom, and 2/3 whipped ice. It's impossible to drink with the small straw, and uncomfortably sweet. After 30 mins of driving, the ice layer on top still didn't melt. Rather go across the road for KFC milkshake, better taste and price. After multiple visits in various countries, this is by far the worst region. No seasonal offerings, local flair is a boere patty, lol.

Chips were refried, hard as a rock, and tossed away.
